The Can't Ant - William Lawrence Drake

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

    L

et me take this opportunity to thank my wife, Cynthia Allen Drake, for allowing me to work at home, and in peace. This work could not have been completed if my wife had not been able to ask me WHY I wrote this or that – Cynthia would also ask, to my displeasure, what could be done about the problems that were written…when my reply was nothing, Cynthia would then say why are you writing about a problem that you can’t fix, and don’t have answers for – After thinking about her questions for a minute or two, I responded that I don’t know why I said it, but I know what I am saying must be said. I would also like to thank my daughter, Andrea Denise Hawkins, for her counsel and advice – But more than anything I owe her for two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren – My daughter must also take credit for telling me that you have no filter, hopefully she is correct about that.

his work is not asking the reader to change their personal views of religion, politics, morals, values or the education system – It is a book that will hopefully introduce topics and subjects to a point where the reader can have honest discussions /debates about the future of this great nation. I would also remind the reader that I have a bias, that has been brought about by my age, seventy-five; nor am I able to predict the future in terms of how this country embraces the upcoming years, however, the future of America largely depends on young Americans whose beliefs can sustain this great country in times of war, peace, and disagreements among its citizens, AND THE WORLD! Let me add that this great nation cannot survive if the children that are to come are taught to hate rather than love, and above all other considerations or plans, there can be no conflicts that will bring death and destruction to the planet or the people that inhabit the planet – To achieve the goals
