About this ebook

“Wedding Day” takes you on a wild journey through the morning of Shia’s wedding. There’s always that one person questioning if the bride will even make it down the aisle. This story is no different, but it is not the same. Maybe staying single is not such a bad idea. Afterall, nothing is more important than your sanity.

Determination and preparation are but only two key ingredients in surviving college. The goal for first generation college student Layla in “On Time Means Late” is quite simple. Get to class, even though everything is trying to prevent that from happening. Everything. This story will hit you out of nowhere, but it could be close to home. Just make sure you get to class on time. GO make your father proud!

The perfect wedding does not always mean you’ll have a perfect life. You could be sipping mimosas with your husband one day and traveling to three different states to get away from him the next. In fact, that’s exactly what happened to Raya in “Witness Protection Please”. Her world was turned upside down and the only person she wants to see is the one person the government is telling her to stay away from.

In a retelling of the Ainu epic Kotan Utunnai comes “The Yaunkur” in the modern day. However, the theme of this story centers around family and the things you’re willing to do to avenge them. The young unnamed scientist embarks on a quest to find the people responsible for his father’s death. He started with a mission that eventually led to a question. What’s more important, your revenge or your legacy?

However, I am proudly standing here today as a Creative Writing student ready to unleash my skill to the world. I've written top notch essays and compelling pieces ever since I could type. My communication skills are always a bonus for group settings. Not to mention my performance background left me with little to no fear of public speaking. I am looking to break into the writing field with hopes that my work could be displayed on television sets all over the world before eventually making the trek to cinemas.

    Wedding Day

It’s my wedding day, Shia explains as she sits alone on the love seat in her bridal suite. She finished up the last few bites of the rocky road ice cream she requested for early this morning. When the carton was full, Shia’s hunger was crowding her excitement. But now that the carton is mostly empty, so is Shia. She gets up just to put the carton in the mini fridge. She then took a second to be thankful
