Liberation Theology: How Marxism Infiltrated the Catholic Church

About this ebook
With Pope Francis, liberation theology is back with a vengeance after three decades of laying low. Thus, many Catholics are unaware of the threat posed by this false religion hijacking the two-thousand-year-old Roman Catholic Church founded by Our Lord Jesus Christ.
The promoters of this total revolution do not seek to reform the Church but to reinvent it, transforming it into a modernist, synodal, communist, anarchic, tribal, and pantheistic church. That is why Catholics must understand what liberation theology is and wants. Abundantly documented, this book exposes their radical and subversive goals.

Reviews for Liberation Theology

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Unlike James Haine below whose bizarre political diatribe is obviously more revealing about himself than the contents of this book, I would urge Catholics to read this. It is well written and researched. Anyone with a modicum of critical thinking within the Catholic-sphere, should be encouraged to read this vital resource. It may , however, trigger an unhinged element, but then again, the truth tends to do that. Moreover, unlike the previous reviewer, if you approach the work with a genuine open minded approach you'll find it is not a volume of right wing vitriol but rather an investigative piece which puts clergymen like Irishman and missionary Shay Cullen's infamous quotation "we have no time for that [evangelisation] that is an old theology" into perspective .If you read this book honestly, and not triggered emotionally ab initio, you will see a carefully presented work which demonstrates how well intentioned Catholics can end up increasing the misery and tyranny imposed on the poor, and worse, ensuring their eternal damnation. I say that as rather someone poor myself. Unlike the preposterous claims of a previous reviewer, the book aims to act as a post mortem as such, on a still, just, breathing corpus of the Church. The book certainly does not claim to defend colonialism or capitalism, that is patently absurd, it merely attempts to explain why a Church whose primary function to save souls has now begun to endanger them by relegating Christ to the periphery "we've no time for that". Don't be put off by reviews that tend towards paroxysm over analysis. A "humble opinion" can be very inaccurate. My five year old niece, in her humble opinion, thinks cheese grows on trees, cheddar trees no less.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5In my humble opinion, reactionary right wing supporting propaganda. Presumably the author does not believe in the self determination of Latin American and African nations but would be best served by right wing pro-American dictators and their military's iron fist. No doubt they would be better off exploited, impoverished and living in fear of being "disappeared" for any allegation of dissidence. Does anyone remember all of the peasants and clergy murdered in countries like El Salvador by right wing militants funded by the CIA? Remember the nuns brutally killed in their place of worship by anti-Catholic right wing soldiers due to suspicion of sympathies with leftist resistance groups. I could go on, but books such as this attempt to establish any form of leftism is the fount of all evil while at the same time promoting the polar opposite which risks the church being infiltrated with corruption, greed and lack of charity and service to the poorest. Defining characteristics of many post-Trump Evangelical denominations. Not very Catholic. What next?
Before anyone shouts "woke", this review is by a Catholic socialist…from decades before the term 'woke' existed. We called it justice and absolute equality. Not such an evil idea or even a joke , as it might be to some. For those who want a clear understanding of Liberation Theology, examine the works of Gustavo Gutierrez, Dominican priest, theologian and philosopher has taught at Harvard, Berkely, Cambridge, among other respected institutions. If "A Theology of Liberation" outrages or angers you, then I highly recommend this diatribe as you will find it most agreeable.
