PREFACE
First time writing a book is a thrilling but also challenging process. World-building, building your characters and plotting appropriate scenes are fun procedures of discovery, but first time novel writers over and over again encounter setbacks too. These challenges made many unprepared writers give up on their novels, but you will be able to overcome them with the right methods and mindset.

WRITING A NOVEL
The following guide will be very helpful when writing a fiction book such as a novel:
1. Write out the name of every chapter for your book. Next, decide what you want to cover in each chapter. That way you will always know where you are going with the story. Writing concerning your characters at the beginning, too, can be very helpful down the road. You can utilize bullet points.
2. Understand essentials of a good novel. If you want to be a thriving writer, think twice concerning taking creative writing as your course in college (unless you have already done so); as an alternative, take English Literature. You need to know how you can read with discernment and a decisive eye before you put down anything. Sentence structure, plot formation, character distinction, and character personality growth all fall into place if you understand how to read decisively before you write.
● Setting. The setting of any book is the place, time, and circumstances in which such a story takes place. You don't need to state this outright, of course. Like a painter may do, you create an awesome picture in the mind of your reader via painting around the subject.
For example: Maria walked down a steep slope surrounding the castle. Before she could get much far, one of her father's maids halted her and said, King Ferdinand wants to see you.
This may imply that Maria, possibly a young girl, resides on castle grounds. This would give the reader hints that the book might have taken place in medieval times. Maria is also
