PREFACE
First time writing a book is a thrilling but also challenging process. World-building, building your characters and plotting appropriate scenes are fun procedures of discovery, but first time novel writers over and over again encounter setbacks too. These challenges made many unprepared writers give up on their novels, but you will be able to overcome them with the right methods and mindset.

GETTING ON TRACK ON YOUR BOOK
Anyone having a story to tell can write a book, whether for their own pleasure or to publish for everyone to see and buy. If you see yourself continuously weaving creative narratives inside your head, writing a book can be for you. Starting may look daunting at first, but once you begin, it will be hard to stop.
Buy a notebook. You can beautify it later. While you may or may not intend to type your novel straight into a computer, it's not always probable to be near one as at when inspiration strikes. Thus, it's most excellent to have good old-fashioned pencil together with paper no matter where you are. In addition, many writers swear by connection from mind to hand to pen on paper, so at any rate give it a go before throwing away this as an option to help your writing experience.
A heavy card or leather-bound notebook is the sturdiest and can take lot of abuse in a backpack or briefcase, whereas a spiral bound notebook, despite not as robust, is quite easy to keep open. Better still, should you make a decision the page you just wrote is absolute garbage—it's easy to rip out!
Bound or spiral, consider using standard lined paper versus graph paper. You may end up creating drawings and sketches as you go, and it's helpful for indenting outlining or paragraphs,.
Wear your thinking cap. Now that you are with your notebook, it's time to squash the conventional bugaboo of all writers: the empty first page. Use those initial pages to write out thoughts for stories. Or, write
