About this ebook

I’m Gabe, one of the wealthiest men on earth, and I’m a monster. I use my psychic gifts to offer young women their hearts' desires. For a price.

I divine more about people than they know they’re showing. Some girls think I’m an angel, because I see what they need and solve their problems. The price: they come to my island and entertain me. I’m named for the angel Gabriel, and I own The Billionaires Club.

Extreme erotic shows get through my armor so I can feel. The girls come willingly. But I put them through hell. It’s all I live for anymore.

Until I go to a fight club in San Francisco. Athena steps into the ring, and I have to take her to my island. I want the stunning fighter for my next hunt. But she’s like me, she connects to an unseen world. I see who she is, and she sees right through me. I may have met my match.

Hunted is a Dark Fantasy erotica novella. It’s rated adult 18+ due to language, sexual content and mature themes, including BDSM and nonlethal hunting for erotic sport. After she signs a contract, of course.

Hunted is the sixth episode in The Billionaires Club Interracial BDSM series. Although the earlier episodes are standalones, reading Captured before this one will add to your enjoyment.

Please spare yourself if you aren’t up for interracial relationships, an intense, damaged paranormal alpha with psychic powers, an untouched virgin fighter from the inner city, scary-hot intimate and rough sex, mentions of violence, and/or emotional tough stuff.

BTW, there’s no name-calling or disrespect, just raw life and eroticism. Contents may be triggering for some readers. All characters are over 19.

This is a complete book. The main action of this episode resolves.

    Hunted - Q. Zayne

    Teasers

Sparkles of color shone in her black hair, its thick texture refracting the sun. Damn, she was beautiful, and she moved me. I pressed my lips to her hair, kissed her along her hairline. I kissed her throat, wishing I had a sculptor’s skill so I could share with the world that delicious curve from her jaw to her shoulder. I slipped my fingers into her hair at the base of her skull, luxuriating in its encompassing resilience.

I pressed my lips to her jugular, felt her blood, her life force right there on my mouth. I wanted to pull her to me and feast like a vampire. I wanted to make her respond. I held myself steady, controlling the beast. She wanted me to be the kind of man a good woman loves. I wanted to show her that man in me.

She had to want to. I had to convince her to want to make love with me. We could do something together, the two of us, that would be different from any other sex.

    1. ATHENA’S DANCE

    The Proposition

The announcer called her Athena. I blinked. Goddess of war. So apt. Was it her chosen name, or did her parents foresee her future? Did they argue even now that the name made their daughter a fighter? Her strong features, toned body, and proud stance proclaimed her a warrior.

She was magnificent, with a high forehead, flashing eyes, flaring nostrils and lush lips. The broad planes of her face and high cheekbones possessed an exquisite beauty that inspired master sculptors for centuries.

My heart beat faster. My evening at the fights started as a whim. As Athena shed her cape, it became life-changing. The lights above the ring highlighted every curve and muscular ripple of her body. A sports top and form-fitting shorts in black with flecks of prismatic colors were her only concealment. Her gleaming hair hugged to her skull and hung in a club behind her neck, completing her image as a warrior goddess. She wavered in my sight like a heat mirage on the highway.

As she sized up the young man blessed or cursed to be her opponent, her movements became by turns birdlike and catlike. Her grace was indescribable. She stalked him around the ring, muscles coiled, sneakers flashing. Lights flashed from her shoes: electric blue, neon green and race car orange enhanced her mesmerizing moves. The young man spread his hands, hunkered low, eyed her on the defensive.

She homed in to take him down—dark beating wings extended from her. Athena in owl form.

How could that be? I blinked and rubbed my eyes.

Her attack came in a blur of punches and kicks. Sparks flashed from her feet. Her opponent crouched lower, arms raised to ward her off, sweat dripping down his temple like sacrificial blood from the tight designs razor cut onto his shapely skull.

I watched the steady pounding of her fists into the man, her powerful roundhouse followed by a donkey kick. Her quick jabs to his sides deviled him, kept him guarding himself. She wore him down with her speed and strength.

My fatigue, the world-weary jaded state cocooning me from life, fell away. Excitement seized my guts as her nimble footwork and jabs kept her opponent focused on warding off her attack. I didn’t close my eyes. I fought to catch every glimmer of her movements, alert to any change in that glow surrounding around her.

There, the flap of wings again! I checked the crowd. No one else saw it. Avid faces surrounded me, yet they reflected the pleasure of watching the fight, not the excitement of witnessing a supernatural otherness.

She couldn’t be an actual being from elsewhere. She must be an extraordinary woman, one with skills like mine, only manifest from her body. I had to know her. I sat on the edge of my seat, watching her toy with her opponent, waiting for her to trounce him. I couldn’t wait to get her alone.

She delivered an uppercut, swift and sure.

    He fell to the mat.

She stood over him, her skin shining with perspiration like Isis in a mantle of stars.

Athena the victor looked right at me.

She knew I knew. I felt certain of it. She didn’t look away.

The referee took her wrist and raised it. She pumped her fists in the air and took her bow, the consummate fighter and confident performer.

I had to have her for my show. A shudder went through me like a warning. No damsel in distress,
