Many generations ago, some historians say 500 years, others say 50 years and some even say 5 years ago, nobody can agree on the exact dates, but what we can all agree on is that at some point in recent history there was a conflict between members of the whale kingdom and members of the killer whale kingdom, which concluded in the destruction of the killer whale kingdom. Most historical Oyster shell scrolls that still exist indicate this whale civil war took place in the generations before the whale kingdom and the humans became friends and later allies, and long before the conflict between the whales and sharks.. Saying that this whale war took place around 1000-5000 years ago would be most likely. These sly, devious killer descendant whales although low in numbers have infiltrated all levels within the whale kingdoms, they have positions within high military ranks, government ranks and many more. For years they have kept their activities and treachery secret, but they have been the shadow organization behind many failed whale kingdom missions, and technology research failures. These traitors have spent the last few years doing everything they can to sabotage and delay the whale kingdoms future plans with regards to technology advancements and relocating to the Ice Fort. Some of these traitors were part of the whales construction crews when they were building the Ice Fort, and they delayed the structure months due to sabotaging construction work and causing many rocks slides that the other whales believed to be an act of nature. These traitors meet in secret one a month where they discuss sabotage targets, they regularly supply information to the sharks. The sharks promise to re-install the killer whale kingdom once they have destroyed the whale kingdom.

The Shark Kingdoms Gestapo

For the first time in this ocean world series we get an in depth look at the shark kingdoms secret police who become involved, pro-active and prominent in the invasion of the Ice Fort. They are an highly dangerous and very powerful political organisation, that is resented and despised by many sharks including the whale catcher. The gestapo would execute a shark that is a traitor or coward in battle with the ease it would execute a sharks enemies. The gestapo are thrown into the invasion of the whales Ice Fort to stop sharks acting cowardly or deserting in the face of battle. The gestapo have the authority to kill any sharks that do become cowards or deserters. When the shark kingdoms leaders implement the order, not one metre backwards/retreat the gestapo are present to ensure that the shark kingdoms military obey this order, failure to do so will mean certain death. I have little further information to tell you, because the shark kingdoms gestapo is a very highly secretive organisation whose activities remain top secret.

The Piranha Fish

The piranha fish population are segmented into different groups across the ocean world, and do not form a large kingdom like other sea-creatures. Some of these piranha groups live in the unconquered, volatile ocean world areas that the shark kingdoms army and food supplies must travel across to reach the whale kingdoms Ice Fort. The piranha fish style is to attack individual advancing columns of the sharks army along the areas of their food supply chain, these fish adapt gorilla warfare methods against an unwanted trespasser within their region. The piranha fish despise sea-creatures that threaten their aura of being the most fearsome creatures in the ocean. During the story members of the whales ask the piranha fish to help repel the invasion of the sharks army.

Mother Nature

Mother nature plays a very big part in the entire adventure, most of the story takes place in the coldest regions of the ocean world, the regions that contain the most volatile weather patterns, the most fearsome and frequent storm patterns. From providing the cold water regions around the Ice-Fort that restricts the time-lengths that sharks can mount an attack unless their technology advances and provides them with some form of protection against the cold elements (like protective suits). Only the great white shark is comfortable within cold waters, the sharks in the world today are more efficient and comfortable in the warm regions of the world. From raging hailstone storms, freezing conditions that create underwater Ice packs to sea-bed volcanic eruptions, mother nature will be an obstacle that the Shark Kingdom will seek to overcome.

King Kolan & Princess Louisa & Tenby

The king of the whale kingdom, and his daughter Louisa will have to unite and lead his species against the greatest military onslaught since the historical battle of Dry Mass. Under siege and under pressure, assisted by his trusty aid Tenby, the whale armed with the sonic gun, and the military defensive capabilities of the Ice Fort he must show his leadership abilities. The last time the whale kingdom fought against such numbers they were defeated at Dry Mass, but in the Whales favour is that the Ice Fort is the most military advanced structure in the whole known ocean world. whales within the whale kingdom had a life expectancy of around 180 years.

The two birds accompanied by their stingray friend will continue their adventure into the southern hemisphere in their quest to find the long lost bird kingdom that separated from their own northern section generations ago. They will travel into new areas, meet new sea-creatures and discover that the sea-snakes evil is spreading rapidly across the world and that soon no part of the ocean world will be untouched by the slithering hands of the Sea-Snakes.

Southern Hemisphere Bird Kingdom

A new colony of birds living in the southern hemisphere are discovered, in an area that used to be home to the land mass called the Philippines. These birds have many different cultural, lifestyle and technological differences in comparison to the northern hemisphere birds. These birds have discovered the technique known to southern hemisphere sea-creatures as bubbling. Bubbling is riding and moving submerged beneath the ocean surface within a large air-bubble. These air-bubbles can be very large, up to a circumference of 10 meters. A bird within one of these air-bubbles controls the direction with the flapping of their wings, the technique and skill required to control the manoeuvrability of an air bubble takes many months of practice. The birds that enter these air bubbles, have to wrap their beak in soft plantation material otherwise their sharp beaks punctures and bursts the air-bubble while they enter it. An average size air-bubble provides air for its occupant up to five hours depending on its size, and how many birds are travelling within it. The dangers of using these air-bubbles for the birds, is if the bubble bursts underwater, this would potentially cause the bird to drown if it could not reach the surface in time. The drowning yearly ratio is approximately 20% of the birds that use these bubbles. It is common for birds within the bubbles to burst them with the claws on their feet. Any predator attacking the bird in the bubble would only have to burst the bubble and then the bird would be a very vulnerable victim. The birds usually use these bubbles for catching food. If a bird manoeuvres an air bubble onto fish, the fish cannot survive within the air only environment within the air bubble, so it becomes trapped and suffocates without water. Most air bubbles can hold up to 40 small fish inside itself without bursting. These air bubbles are ideal mechanisms for trapping and transporting food supplies for the birds. These air bubbles are generated from the large number of underwater volcanoes with gas vents that line the sea floor of the old human era area know as the pacific rim plate, only in this part of the world are air-bubbles of this size found.

The Cat Fish Kingdom

The cat fish kingdom had their moment in the sunlight during rise of the cat fish kingdom book. Suffering the loss of nearly 100'000 cat fish soldiers as put their dreams of expanding into the upper regions of the ocean world delayed indefinitely. Mother nature was successful in protecting her none pollution spoilt areas of the upper ocean world and pushed the transporters of death back down into the basement of the ocean world. The cat fish only get a brief introduction during this story, mainly just to remind everybody that they still exists and one day they will return, but before they do they need to discover something that will protect their bodies against sunlight. In their quest for knowledge and technological advancement the cat fish kingdom aim to make friends with some very deadly foes.

The Sea Snake Kingdom Occult Priests

The sea snake kingdom occult priests, devil worshippers and their believers occupy a tilting oil rig platform as a place of religious worship and spiritual rituals in the quest to summon powers from the devil. They use the empty oil pipes drilled into the seabed by the humans many generations earlier as route for exploring more of world located below the sea-bed in their quest of finding magical & occult artefacts and more importantly the gateway to hell that the myths say is full of sea snakes that do the bidding of the devil. The pipe holes are drilled so deep they might succeed within their quest. Although over time the Sea-snakes living on the oil rig discover that they are living within a environment crawling with living bacteria that has the potential to threaten the long term health of all sea-creatures. The sea-snakes also build a rat production facility within their realm thanks to the rats that Mamba captured on the oil rig structure.

The Whale Kingdoms Ice-Fort

This will be the place that has the fate of the ocean world in its hands, it is the whale constructed structure that will have to repel and stand against the onslaught about to be released upon it by the might of the shark kingdoms army. The Ice-Fort is a fortified military base, a magnificent sight and the most advanced structure in the ocean world, that is exceptionally secure against attack and has defence installations that could repel enemies tens of thousands in size. King Kolan has designed the structural layout for the Ice-Fort himself and he strongly believes it will stand for many generations and that it is impenetrable. The Ice-Fort has systems, weaponry areas, surveillance areas, storage areas, living quarters, function areas, historical archive areas, educational areas, scientific areas, military areas, food production areas and devices within its structure that makes it long term self sufficient, the whales could very easily repel any potential siege techniques implemented by the sharks or their allies with ease for years. King Kolan and only a select few of the most trusted whales in the kingdom know about some secret passageways in and out of the Ice-Fort and they will remain secret until a situation requires otherwise. The Ice-Fort has a outer skeleton layer of Ice with a inner skeleton layer of rock. King Kolan implemented this two skeleton layer construction technique because he believed in future years when all the underwater Ice as melted with the increasing water temperatures the inner rock structure will still be left standing regardless of water temperatures. Plus in certain parts of the structure, old human era materials known as metal, brick and steel have been incorporated into the structure to add strength. The accurate thickness of the structure is unknown at this moment, but I presume it is very thick and very strong. The Ice-Fort can also be made to look like part of the sea-bed and is well camouflaged when all the entrances and military weapon holes are closed. which will help maintain it secrecy for as long as possible. Also King Kolan researched volcanic activity in the region and placed the Ice-Fort in a region that has never experienced under seabed volcanic activity. So the potential of the Ice-Fort being damaged by volcanic eruptions and violent seabed activity is very slim. King Kolan has already put in place by being pro-active for future generations by creating a whale engineering team that will be responsible for the maintenance and updating of the structure. The whale kingdom will also aim to regularly update its defence technology and weaponry systems. The fortified military base of Ice-Fort defences requires only 500 whales to operate its defences 100% efficiently. We will learn more about the Ice-Fort layout later.

Whale Kingdoms Weaponry

The weapons used in the forthcoming battle will play a major part in deciding the outcome of the conflict. Since the battle of Dry Mass the whales have spent lots of time and effort finding weapons to armour their Ice-Fort with. In addition to the sonic gun brought home by Tenby, large volumes of this arsenal is made up of weapons left behind by the old human era, the whales have spent time gathering old human weapons, cleaning and restoring them and learning how to use them. Large numbers of old whale harpoon weapons are present amongst the defences of the Ice-Fort and so are submarine torpedoes that the whales have learnt how to fire at targets. With the Ice-Fort the whales have accumulated over 5000 old human submarine torpedoes that they have salvaged from sunken submarines laying on the sea-bed across the ocean. They have also accumulated thousands of old human grenades, that following a bit of adjustment work efficiently below the oceans surface. They have under water mines, defensive nettings, spears and sharp poles. The structural defences of the Ice-Fort include lots of steel window shutters, barb wires, nettings, steel doors and gates. Each military whale within the Kingdom has learnt the skill of knife blowing. The basic explanation is that a whale carriers a supply of old human knifes inside his mouth, and with his tongue he can place a knife at the tip of his tongue and fire it towards it intended target. The whale would fire the knife by blowing hard with their lungs and through their mouth, a technique that will send the knife forward at a very quick speed, piercing and lodging into anything that it comes into contact with. This firing (blowing technique) can also be used with old human grenades, in theory the grenade would explode on whatever it was blown into. Other whales prefer to fight with long sharp spears in their mouths (which is also a favourite of their enemies the sharks). These are just a tip of the ice-berg, you will learn more about weaponry used further in the story.

The Shark Army Weaponry

The Shark army and their allies will attack with their own arsenal of weapons, some sharks have head protection masks that limit the power and effects of the sonic gun, but these head protections are only at the development stage due to the speed that they were constructed, and only have a certain life span before their protection is worn away and they become useless, plus there is only a small percentage of the sharks army protected by these head protections. The shark kingdom have also developed some body warmer suits for their sharks to wear so that their sharks can spend more time within the cold water regions around the Ice-Fort which they will need to do if they are to penetrate the formidable defences of the Ice-Fort. Giant empty turtle shells will be used for protection against the weapons firing from the Ice-Fort at them, like Roman soldiers during the human era that used their shields for protection against arrows and spears directed at them. Electrical spears will be used with the intention of electrifying the target that they hit, these electrical spears are just old human era metal poles with sharp points onto which an electrical eel is strapped to them by sea-weed, these poles are fired towards their targets using the old human weapons giant crossbows that the sharks obtained from various military museums that are located within flooded old human era cities. Other weapons include gas bombs, which are old glass human era gas cylinders that used to be used within calagas fires and can potentially cause great big explosions when ignited. Other weapons brought to the battle by them and their allies and more in depth details about these will be told further along in the story.

Germ Warfare and pollution Weaponry

The evil sea-snake kingdom many generations ago discovered very old human era documents in a laboratory within the underwater city of Baghdad. That supplied much information about the development of germ warfare. Over the years the sea-snake kingdom have developed their own versions of germ warfare weapons, they have used various types of pollution left behind in the ocean world by the humans. One idea of the sea-snake kingdom is to somehow get some oil solution, or molten larva rocks into the Ice-Fort via one of its weapon points and create an underwater fire if possible. There will be more genius devilish ideas within this story.

Frost Bite

The Ice-Fort is located within the coldest water area of the ocean world, the warmer waters of the ocean world are gradually making this cold water region smaller with each passing year, it is just a guess but this cold water region could exist within the ocean for a least the next 50-80 years depending on the how quickly the oceans temperatures continue to increase. Even though all the surface Ice has melted away within this region there still remains underwater slugs, block and ice platforms that are moving about beneath the ocean surface. Only sea-creatures that are able to remain in cold waters stay in this environment long-term, most of the sea-creatures are restricted to the length of time they can stay within such cold waters. The plantations that grow and prosper in such an environment are those that can survive without any UV rays because only rarely do UV rays penetrate into this area of the ocean world. This cold water environment will place great strain upon the limbs of the sea-creatures that battle in the region. During the human era in Russia 1942 the German army was unprepared for the Russia winter and lost many of its soldiers to weather related issues like frost bite and severe draining of energy resources. Potentially the same thing could happen to the shark kingdoms army, because the cold water will have a detrimental effect on the body and rear fins of the sea-creatures and start many weather related issues, and should the battle continue into the winter months of this area, the water temperature plummets even further. The dried seeds, and dried insects eggs that The Whale Catcher obtained in his girlfriends grave are not yet ready for distribution, and further tests, growths and developments needs to be done on these before these can help soldiers health and energy issues. The cold watery environment is a big problem for any invading army.

The sea-snake kingdom quickly became the most technological advanced regarding in-house food production.

Plunging the planet into complete darkness, a darkness that will last approximately 15 years. Due to gateways created in the sea-bed by the asteroids collision, insects of various kinds start to swarm on mass into the upper regions of the ocean world above the sea-bed level, the early stages in the building of many insect kingdoms.

The Rebirth of the Planet Period.

After 15 years the dust/rock particles in the atmosphere above the ocean surface start to disperse and fan out, finally allowing the suns rays to break through its blanket and allow the rays to warm the planet again. A planet that as become barren of sea-creature and plantation life now gets a kick start and the opportunity to start again, The shark kingdom, The sea-snake kingdom and the whale kingdom all survive the dark period due to their in-house food production facilities, whilst most other sea-creature kingdoms and the vulture kingdoms have perished. The only growth sector as been the rapidly increase in population numbers of the catfish kingdom and the presence of millions of different types of insects.

The Great Ocean Fire Period.

Large volumes of old-human era dumped pollution originally located in the lower regions of the ocean, which ascended towards the upper regions/surface of the ocean, amidst the chaos, aftermath of the asteroids strike. Pollution substances that were previously protected by the darkness, the newly returned suns rays begin to burn and set alight much of the pollution substances. Creating sweeping ocean fires across the globe, some of which continue to burn and smoulder for many years. During this period the world begins to smell like a big bonfire.

The official starting date for the sea-creature versus insect war (although the smaller conflict period between insects and sea-creatures have taken place for at least 150 earlier following the impact of the asteroid on the planet around the year 2425 approx).

Over 600'000 spiders attack the sea-snake kingdoms capital with the aim of recovering the millions of insect eggs that the sea-snakes have stolen. The water spiders are eventually repelled by the sea-snakes.

The most devastating weapon of the water spiders during this conflict were the sticky spider webs that they used to capture the sea-snakes.

The Insect Empire

All insects living across the world form the Insect Empire. The first leader of the insect empire is called 'Emperor Legs' a powerful water spider a family descendant (via cross breading) of the legendary black widow spider called 'Beast Killer' who lived in the period around the year 2425. The only insects that reject joining the insect empire are the ants, who are immediately cast as outlaws and rebels and are forced to relocate to the furthest outer lands of the insect domains. They vow one day to return and claim their rightful place as the leaders of the insect world.

2621 to 3499

Many conflicts and battles take place between the insect empire and various sea-creatures kingdoms, without either obtaining outright victory. Both side become military weaker due to the conflict.

The ants return on mass in their millions back into the inner regions of the insect empire. During the next twenty years the number of attacks upon sea-creature by the insect empire decreases because the insect empire is locked in a insect civil war against the ants.

The ants are victorious within the insect civil war.

The ants start an all out war against all sea-creatures. Most other insects are massacred although a few are kept for food supply production.

One by one the remaining sea-creature kingdoms are destroyed by the ants.

The remaining segments of sea-creatures which are of poor intelligence relative to the sea-creatures that occupied the world thousands of years before, are trapped within these every decreasing lake sizes that contain a rapidly decreasing level of food supplies, the sea-creatures in these lakes are very savage as they fight with each other for the remaining food supplies, cannibalism is rife within these lakes.

The last few sea-creatures die, as the final isolated segments of water across the world evaporates due to the high temperatures that now bake the world as it moves closer and closer towards the sun. Some sea-creatures try and mutate so that they can live out of the water, but they fall victim to the millions of ants that now populate the dried up world.

The world is now just host to millions of large ant hills, the landscape of the world is very barren and only small segments of plantations grow in the occasional places.

All life on the plant is destroyed with the exception of the odd few plantation particles and life molecules that are dispersed into the depths of space. Maybe in these particles and molecules will find new planets to grow on, and the following life patterns will be repeated.

It is worth remembering that the crucial powerful sonic gun weapon which Tenby obtained during The Whale Kingdom Quest novel now resides with the whale kingdoms Ice-Fort and will become part of their defence, a formidable obstacle for the Shark army to overcome.

We must get information out to our friends the sharks about the presence of the sonic gun weapon within this Ice-Fort two medium sized, black and white coloured whales hugged together in the far corner of the new grand hall, just below a glass jar full of light providing glow worms that was embedded into the structures wall, whilst leaning against its icy structure they spoke very quietly, so that their words could not to be overheard by other whales. Their activity did not look suspicious because all throughout the new grand hall individual groups of whales were huddled together discussing in quiet tones what they had just learnt. At this moment in time there are no worries within the kingdom about possibilities of traitors and informers that are supplying information to the enemy, but sadly traitors were now embedded into the fabrics of the entire whale kingdom and doing their up-most, to undermine the efforts of king Kolan. Many of these traitors are annoyed that the construction of the Ice-Fort was completed, but there was nothing really they could do because their secret society is too low in numbers to instigate any long term delays. The best part, that the secret society can play with such low personnel numbers at this moment in time is the one of information suppliers to the enemies of king Kolan. A two hour long meeting chaired by the king and his daughter princess Louisa had just finished. During this public meeting to all the whale residents living in the Ice Fort king Kolan had been speaking about the adventures of Tenby, Seedy, Danni and her dolphin companions. Tenby's discovery of the magical gemstones and the devastating effect that the sonic gun had on The Whale Catcher. King Kolan also informed his population to start preparing the Ice-Fort and themselves for an invasion because he felt sure (but at this point cannot confirm) that the sea-snake kingdom will seek in the near future to re-capture these magical gemstones and enlist the help of their friends the sharks to do so.

Many years ago before the whales conflict with the sharks, a civil war engulfed all of the whales within the ocean world, long before the defining battle of Dry Mass. This civil war instigated by the killer whales' thirst for blood had raged for over 100 years and finally resulted in the total destruction of the killer whale kingdom. Many human environmentalists blamed the humans for the downfall of the killer whales as their population numbers decreased rapidly, but unknown to them the fault was not theirs. On one occasion long before the battle of Dry Mass over 500 dead whales were found floating on the ocean surface just off the land mass once known as Canada by an old human fishing crew. An investigation was carried by human marine biologists that could not provide any conclusive answers. In the battle grounds of the polar regions wars and battles raged. Thousands upon thousands of whales were killed, both sides sustained substantial population losses. The whale kingdom was eventually victorious and to their knowledge all killer whales and their spouses had been destroyed. Unknown to the whale kingdom the killer whale bloodline continues to the present day because killer whale sympathizers secretly hid the killer whales young children and future offspring, from an early age these young killer whale descendants are educated in the way of the whale kingdom and how to hide their killer whale attributes. Now low in numbers these killer whale descendants continue to fight the long dead civil war by sabotage and treachery methods, the secret killer whale society have established direct communication paths right into the heart of the shark and sea-snake kingdoms.

King Kolan's final statement of the meeting was that he was placing the Ice-Fort and its occupants on high alert, and during such a delicate period only the necessary whale military personnel will be allowed to travel outside of the Ice-Fort realm. The whale kingdom residents accepted this condition without question, not one whale moaned or groaned about the situation, because it was more important that they get the Ice-Fort ready for the impending invasion from the sharks. The Ice-Fort was built within the rock formations upon the sea-bed within the current cold water region of the ocean world (the best visual description that springs to mind is a old human nuclear war bunker, with extra strength bunker door). Inside the Ice-Fort there are many different levels and different functions on each level, There is one vertical main entrance into the Ice-Fort that is heavily guarded with many weapons points to the side of it and above it. These weapon points are basically holes in the rock like windows in old human era houses, that allow the whales to open them, look through them and fire weapons from their positions. Instead of the glass in windows, these holes in the rocks have steel window guards with lots of spikes and barb wire in place which stops intruders from entering into the Ice-Fort via them, also the holes are not large enough for most sea creatures to swim through they are just large enough for the whales to look through and fire harpoons or old human submarine torpedoes from.

The two whales hugging and whispering together in the corner were the last ones to leave the new grand hall Call a secret meeting at once for our society members, we will meet within my home in one hour time (I am using the human era clock for generalising time periods throughout this book) one said quietly to the other as the pair left the hall and passed through some large brass doors that gleamed under the glow worms light, whilst manoeuvring past a few whale engineers. There are multiple individual groups of whale engineers moving about the structure of late, because king Kolan has challenged them to discover and implement a heating system within the Ice Fort that will make the water constantly slightly warmer without melting the Ice Layer part of the forts structure. This might be possible by channelling and piping a flow of sea-bed originating gas around the seabed rock segment of the structure, the negative to this idea is that the nearest natural gas vent that this system would need plugging into is located over 20 miles away, unless the whale engineers can develop an in-house self sufficient warm gas supply. Even though the whales are comfortable living in very cold waters, a slightly warmer water would be more pleasurable for them. The two devious whales once they had passed through the gleaming brass doors separated before going off into different directions.

It is good that you are home safe my friend spoke king Kolan with his normal deep voice using the bubble tongue language to Tenby, as he, Tenby, Danni and his daughter Louisa one by one entered his new royal chamber which is located at the deepest most part of the Ice Fort structure (level 7) to provide maximum protection against invaders. There are seven internal levels to the Ice-Fort (like a 7 storey human era house, the structure of the Ice-Fort is 700 feet deep, each internal structure as an internal depth of 100 feet), the main gate entrance to the outside world is located on level 1. The access points between each descending level (stairway) is guarded by an entrance gate to that level. Each level has its own steel protected gate entrance that is heavily protected by weapon points, so for example if invaders penetrate into the structure of level 1, The whale kingdom can stop/repel the invaders at the gate to level 2 and stop them occupying the structure of level 2. The whale kingdom can relocate into the lower levels and if required escape via the secret passageways on level 7. King Kolan designed this internal defence (2nd, 3rd, 4th etc Line defences) structure because during his lifetime he has seen many military bases collapse once their first line defences were destroyed. Designing this structure took hours upon hours of king Kolan's time and years of construction. The entrance to the secret escape passageways leading from the Ice-Fort is located within king Kolan residential area. The second line of defence within the Ice Fort is that each individual level has its own entrance, so if the invaders gain access into the upper level, the levels below can close themselves off from them.

The Ice-Fort is fully operational now Tenby, this gives our Kingdom the greatest chance of surviving long term king Kolan wearing the seaweed cloth of royalty came to relax his entire body upon what looked like many old human era dinner table that creaked and rocked slightly as his whale body frame placed them under stress, looking at Tenby, Danni and his daughter, the king spoke Forgive the casualness of my conduct today, but I am feeling really tired, exhausted and under the weather because I have not been sleeping well due to all the stress and worry of re-locating our entire kingdom to this place a slight pause and silence fell over the room Apart from the odd raids by a few groups of piranha fish on our transporting food supplies, our relocation here into the Ice Fort was very uneventful, and the piranha fish only attacked our food because they are hungry. We totally destroyed our old home so that the shark kingdom cannot turn it into a base from which to launch attacks against us".

Tenby turning his head slightly to the right and them to the left, looked around at king Kolan"s new posh quarters under the beam of thousands of glow worms, in hundreds of glass jars that were hanging from the roof of the room, and saw many whale kingdom historical relics and artefacts pinned to the walls, many different sized oyster shells were placed upon a flat smooth surface rock rising upwards. One metre from the floor (like a human rectangular table) that the king was using to record the events of relocating the whale kingdom into the Ice-Fort, these oyster shells will allow the king to write records and preserve them very long term within mint condition. Each of these oyster shell will eventually contain a scroll that automatically unravels itself when the oyster shell opened, and automatically scrolls itself back up when the oyster shell closes. Each scroll within an oyster shell is made from some form of sea bed plantation that existed in the waters of the pacific ocean. Some form of glow worm gloss will be used by the king for writing purposes. This gloss would stick to the plantation in any style that the king decides.

Thanks to the exceptionally bright light provided by the glow worms Tenby could also see located at the distant end of the room, directly opposite from the entrance and to the rear of the kings current position (the room is about 75 feet in length, rectangle in shape with three other rooms off to the side, most likely sleeping and eating areas) the skeleton of Bowyan the wise whale laid out within a old human era large glass fish tank (like a glass coffin), that had been transferred carefully from the whale high office. The whale Bowyan was responsible for establishing an alliance with the humans 30 years before the battle of Dry Mass. Tenby then looked at princess Louisa, whilst King Kolan adjusted his body so that he was more comfortable and smiled, a gesture that King Kolan witnessed but said nothing. He knew that Tenby had eyes for his daughter, and even though Tenby was not of royal blood he was starting to prove themselves worthy of his daughters attention. The kings attitude has recently changed because now he spends more and more time talking to and mixing with normal whales within his Kingdom, which he rarely did before.

King Kolan coughed to draw every ones attention back to him laying on the creaking tables, speaking again in the bubble tongue language so that Danni the dolphin could understand. I have thought about the sharks invasion plans for many hours, and I have found a weakness that I want to exploit apart from the tables creaking, the room fell silent until the king spoke again The enemies main weakness is that they have to travel across many miles and volatile areas to get to us, if they have our correct location! If we can somehow weaken their army on route, the army that arrives here at the Ice-Fort will be far weaker than the army that leaves the shark kingdoms capital which will be to our own advantage. Tenby, Danni and Lousia did not make a sound, but each nodded to acknowledge that they understood their King.

Looking at Tenby who was standing between the princess and the dolphin, King Kolan in his deep tone continued I have looked at the maps at my disposal and I have identified a few ocean areas that are riddled with the piranha fish groups, I know we are not best of friends with these fish, but we are not enemies with them either, so they will allow us to approach them without attacking us, I think the approaching shark army and the threats they bring could potentially open up an opportunity to create good long term relations with these piranha fish.

What do you mean Father? princess Louisa was very captivated by her fathers words. The princess was now standing very close to Tenby, so close that their bodies began to rub slightly against each other. Tenby had to fight the excitement of this stimulation so that he could give the king his full attention.

The King glanced at his very beautiful daughter to show a facial expression of disapproval at her standing so close to Tenby, she instantly moved her body away from Tenby slightly with just one flick of her body side fins so that they were no longer rubbing against each other, then the king instantly returned his eye transfix back towards Tenby who was finding it hard to concentrate thanks to the princess's actions If we unite with these piranha fish, we can create partisan brigades that can harass, attack and raid the shark army, their weapon supplies and their foods supplies on route here. I think the piranha fish (although I am not sure on their population numbers) will be interested because of the potentially large food supplies that will be transported through their areas, and the fact they don't really like sharks or sea-snakes, plus we can offer them friendship, the potential to build a long term alliance and work together to maintain a constant food supply for us both. I think the piranha will trust us more than the sharks because we have lived near them for many a years and never invaded their own space.

The king continued speaking, increasing his vocal tone so that it was above the continuous creaking noise of the tables he was laid upon, the tables actually now sounded like they would collapse any moment soon I want you Tenby to find these piranha fish and do whatever it takes to get these piranha fish to aid us in our fights against the SharksYou have proven yourself in finding the sonic gun and I have every confidence in you, and don't worry about the sonic gun because in the next few days I will speak with our strategists about what is the best location for the gun in our defences but I feel it will better being part of the defences around the entrance gates.

Tenby, Danni and the princess left the king alone in his chamber, Danni the dolphin was hungry and went alone to the food eating area which is located on the sixth level of the Ice-Fort structure, the food eating, storage and self-production areas are all placed on level 6 for their own protection. The king knows the importance of protecting the food storages and supplies against any invaders that gain access to Ice-Fort so that they can keep feeding the whales which is why they are located at the low level 6. The whale kingdom like the shark kingdom have developed their own self-sufficient food production plants, and within certain areas of the Ice-Fort the whales breed scrimps and prawns along with other sea-creatures that they like to eat. Tenby and the Princess (apart from four elite Whale guards that are responsible for the gate defences at this level) were now alone as Danni swam gently away through the steel gate on this level so that the Dolphin could swim up the stairway to level 5.

Princess Louisa glanced romantically towards Tenby with a welcoming and friendly expression on her face, her face was turning slightly red in colour due to blushing, her mouth was in a gentle smiling position, her body was again pressing/rubbing up against Tenby's like it had in her fathers chamber, and her eyes beamed very brightly Would you like to come to my chambers and share a few prawns with me TenbyTenby filled with excitement at the proposal and the stimulation of her touch, tried to answer but no words came out, the only noise was the loud drumming noise of his heart that was doing somersaults in his chest. He knew now was not the time to be lost for words, he tried again with his mouth wide open but still no noise came forth. Tenby was finding his nervous condition very embarrassing, he did not even feel this nervous when he faced the mighty Whale Catcher.

The Princess could see that Tenby was petrified and overcome with nerves so badly that his vocal cords had gone numb and were just producing a string of tiny air bubbles every time he opened his mouth. Even the onlooking whale guards at the levels entrance/exit gate were becoming quite amused at the gold fish impression that Tenby was now doing (Open and closing mouth many times without any noise, only air bubbles). She thought that Tenby's nervous condition was sweet and quite funny, trying not to giggle at Tenby's embarrassment she grabbed the right hand side body fin of Tenby with her own left hand side body fin and led/guided him along the very clean and bright yellow rock side coloured corridor towards her own chambers on level 7 about 400 yards further along the level from her father's chambers, where they would have much privacy, share some food and conversation (if Tenby;s vocal cords allow it). The only other presence within her chambers was her trustworthy maid that retired to sleep once she had prepared a prawn meal for the Princess and her friend Tenby. The princess's chambers were very comfortable, her seating arrangements were mainly water-beds (exactly like the old human era style water beds) made from various combinations of plantations which are very comfortable to relax and sleep upon. The walls of the chamber were light blue, she had used old human water proof sky blue paints to add some nice colouring to the interior of her home, There was the normal collection of glow worms providing lighting, plus there was the usual female decorations within her home using various human materials like silk and satin and plantations to create a soft feminine feeling to the surroundings. Her chamber was so developed and nice that it had an en-suite air-bubble room, this room was large enough for two medium sized Whale to lay side by side, half the room was filled by water and the other half was filled by air, that is funnelled into the air-bubble room by air vents that generate from down in the under sea-bed structure. The princess spends many hours in this room relaxing within the air bubble. There are many air bubble rooms for the whales to relax within throughout the Ice-Fort structure that enable the whale to breath in air and relax when they wish to, most of these rooms are open to the public, and only the king and princess have their own private air bubble rooms. After they had finished eating their prawn meal the princess and Tenby headed into her air-bubble room to relax and hopefully get Tenby's vocal cords working again because all through their meal, the pair just looked into each others eyes, giggling, blushing and smiling without saying a word.

A rough overview of the the Ice Fort internal plans (although they can change) are that level 1 is mainly for military purposes, level 2 is the army barracks area and home to the 500+ whales that are required to operate the Ice-Forts defences, level 3 is the most diverse level and has a lot of functions and is home to the new grand hall, the library archive sections and the historical museum. Level 4 is the storage area for weapons and ammunitions. Level 5 is the residential, educational, health, scientific, development and social areas for the whales living in the Ice-Fort. Level 6 is for the self sufficient production, storage and eating of food, level 7 is the royal level which includes the escape routes from the Ice-Fort. The king conducted a whale Count for the first time once all the whales had been relocated into the Ice Fort, discovering that previous population figure were very inaccurate and false and that at present the Ice-Fort is home to 3000 whales and 20 dolphins. There is a constantly air bubble supply into the concealed Ice-Fort generating from deeper into the plants core.

The whales population figures have dramatically and very sadly decreased and quickly tumbled downwards because of their on going wars against the sharks, their allies and their devastating defeat at the historical battle of Dry Mass. I cannot give an exact figure of the exact number of whales that have been killed in the conflict during the years, maybe the figure is in the hundreds of thousands or the millions. King Kolan felt that the whale kingdom no longer had the population figures to defend themselves in open water which was his enthusiasm for building the fortified Ice-Fort.

One hour had passed since the meeting in the new grand hall had finished using the old human timing methods, and the two medium sized whales that were whispering in the corner of the hall were back into close proximity to each other, this time accompanied by fifteen other whales, the group of seventeen whales are the long forgotten descendants of The killer whale kingdom. Each of the whales are roughly medium in size and all black top & white bottom colouring. Packed in so tightly like a tin of sardines that each whale was struggling to breathe, each whale somehow managed to squeeze into a very plain and dull shadow riddled room where visibility was poor, because only one jar of glow worms was present and resting on the floor in a corner because they had not yet been fitted to the roof of the room. Most whales only spend time in their rooms to sleep, and therefore do not take much pride in its appearance or contents value. If they want relaxation time they usually visit the other residential purpose rooms within level 5. This room belong to the whale known as Killer and is located on level 5 of the Ice-fort, right in the middle of the whales large residential area. Each whale within the kingdom has their own living quarters within level 5, an area of the Ice-Fort that provides approximately accommodation for 5000 whales but there are only 3000 whales in total living in the Ice-Fort, so there is plenty of space and empty rooms within the residential area of level 5.
