About this ebook

I was four years old, when I first heard A voice in my heart; my spirit told me that was the voice of God. Since then I was skeptical of searching how to live my life to please Him. At the age of eight I did my first communion and received the gospel through catechism from an old lady teacher. She gave me my first lessons and I passed the test and received my sacrement. When I was 14 years old, by professing my christianity, one of my classmate who was a christian protestant told me that I was not at the right side of the Lord; since I was not reading the bible regularly, he showed me some scriptures about the statues in the church and the rosary prayer that were wrong. After I decided to search for the real deal, I started to learn from different denominations.
In september 2001 I was baptized in the First Haitian Baptist Church, in Gretna Louisiana, since then I was engaged in church ready to learn from the Holy Spirit with the grace of God. This lady, her name is Sarilia Francois, she is married to the bible, and I decided to follow her footstep; that is exactly what I did and continue to do, the bible became my best friend. Last thing I met a woman who is a believer from the Jehovah witness, because of the love we feel for each other; we were engaged and got married, as always they excelled my challenges. I became obsessed with studying and researching about the bible, my destiny has changed forever!

    Afterword

    FOREWORD

Duvaldo is a friend that I met at work. In our first conversation, his courtesy and behavior testified quickly that he is a christian. My friend Duvaldo spent a lot of time to read the bible, a fundamental view of the value of christian life including faith and obedience. In this book, an intellectual and academic effort come together, a battle that Duvaldo fights every day. From beginning to end of this book, Jesus is the only determining actor symbolizing life in time passed, present time, and in the future. This work shows how someone can serve his community from a personal activity. The Doctrine of Jesus is a call that Duvaldo launched and we must not leave it as a cry in the desert. I invite each of you own this book, to read it and it will orient all your interest into serving God.

    Beauchamp Angervil.

    INTRODUCTION

Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? On the heights along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; beside the gates leading into the city, at the entrance, she cries aloud: To you, O men, I call out; I raise my voice to all mankind.

You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, gain understanding.

Listen, for I have worthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right. My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness.

All the words of my mouth are just; none of them is crooked or perverse. To the discerning all of them are right; they are faultless to those who have knowledge.

Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.

I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion

To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have understanding and power.

By me kings reign and rulers make laws that are just; by me princess govern, and all the nobles who rule on earth.

I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.

With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity.

My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver.

I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, bestowing wealth on those who love me and making their treasuries full.

The Lord brought me forth as the first of His works, before His deeds of old; I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began.

When there were no oceans, I was given birth, when there were no springs abounding with water; before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth, before He made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world.

I was there when He sent the heavens in place, when He marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, when He established the clouds above and fixes securely the fountains of the deep, when He gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when He marked out the foundations of the earth.

Then I was the craftsman at His side, I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in His presence, rejoicing in His whole world and delighting in mankind.

Now then, my sons listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways.

Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it.

Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.

For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord.

But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death.

    Proverbs 8 (NIV)

    1

    The grace of God

The Scriptures foresaw that God would justify the nations (gentiles) by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: all nations will be blessed through you. So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. (Galatians 3:8-9 NIV, Genesis 12:2-3 1920 BCE). But now a righteousness from God, apart from the law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ, Jesus.(Romans 3:21-24 NIV).
