Through the leadership of pastor Fleming, Life Restored Church has seen an average of five homeless people each year get into their own places of residence. Pastor Fleming also started the winter shelter movement in San Antonio. When temperatures get below freezing, pastor Fleming trains churches to open their doors and provide shelter to the homeless overnight. Hundreds of lives have been saved with this effort.

    Ministering to the poor and homeless is something that is near to my heart. I grew up in one of the poorest zip codes in San Antonio, Texas and when I was younger, I did a lot of petty crimes. Growing up, many of my friends were either imprisoned or dead, and I knew that sooner or later I would end up the same. So, I went to a community college to try to change my life. During college, I met my wife who introduced me to Christ. After I accepted Christ, I wanted to share the gospel as the Apostle Paul did. So, I
