Connor Whiteley

Hello, I'm Connor Whiteley, I am an 18-year-old who loves to write creatively, and I wrote my Brownsea trilogy when I was 14 years old after I went to Brownsea Island on a scout camp. At the camp, I started to think about how all the broken tiles and pottery got there and somehow a trilogy got created. Moreover, I love writing fantasy and sci-fi novels because you’re only limited by your imagination. In addition, I'm was an Explorer Scout and I love camping, sailing and other outdoor activities as well as cooking.Furthermore, I do quite a bit of charity work as well. For example: in early 2018 I was a part of a youth panel which was involved in creating a report with research to try and get government funding for organised youth groups and through this panel. I was invited to Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party and how some of us got in the royal photograph. Finally, I am going to university and I hope to get my doctorate in clinical psychology in a few years.

    THE INTERROGATION OF ANNABELLA STORMIC

The first time I met Annabella Stormic, she killed me.

Annabella Stormic wasn’t your normal criminal or traitor for that matter. I don’t really know how you would describe her but she was a very special blend of traitor.

You see I’ve worked for a good decade or five hunting down, interrogating and even the occasional torturing of traitors, but I’ve never come across anything as unique as Annabella Stormic.

Now most traitors are ideological crazies who believe the Glorious God Emperor on Earth is corrupt, uncaring and evil. A being who must be slain to free humanity and allow them to prosper and grow into the Divine Rulers of the galaxy humanity is meant to be.

    Absolute rubbish.

Of course these traitors are normal baseline humans who are basically recruited and brainwashed into the various warbands of the Traitor Superhumans. These baseline mortals are so silly and stupid.

But Annabella Stormic wasn’t like this. Sure she was a baseline human, perfectly normal and sweet. But she didn’t believe any of this.

That’s what makes my job so strange. Even as I considered what happened to Miss Stormic and how she came onto my radar, nothing seems to make perfect sense.

Everything with her is only one mystery after another.

Considering she was born on Earth and indoctrinated into the religious cults of the Emperor, this only makes her later actions even more curious and odd.

Even by the age of twenty she was a battle hardened Sister Warrior fighting for the Glorious Emperor on tens of worlds, screaming out prays and purifying words.

(I’ve never believed in such holy things but each to their own)

Then what I can’t understand is how a Sister Warrior turns her back, I’ve never heard of such a thing so this is where I start to look over my notes. And of course things get plain weird.

Annabella Stormic disappears completely for five decades. All trace of her is gone and even her religious armour was missing.

Then she got onto my radar when she reappeared as she murdered a Planetary Governor and two assassins. If it wasn’t my job to hunt her and get her to repent, well, I could be impressed and congratulating her. Assassins aren’t easy to kill.

But when news reached me of her deems, she had already assembled a Warband for herself called the Storm of Blood. Personally I think the name is a bit silly and utterly pointless, I’m not even sure the other traitors like it.

The weirdest thing about her crusade and her fighting was very simple. She never, ever hit anything major. All her followers screamed she was building up to something Glorious but there was never any proof. Like all of her followers, she was a fool.

But I kept following her and hunting her down, I wanted to know what drove her and why she killed hundreds of thousands for what seemed to be no reason.

I remember once during this time I saw twenty seconds of a speech she gave to her followers and there was something... unnerving about it. She wasn’t a crazy traitor like the others, she was so calm, so contempt, so rageful. I understood a rumour about Superhumans respecting her in that moment. Maybe it was true.

Two decades later, well, things turned out a little differently because I finally caught up with her. Through the fire, flames and destruction of battle, my team finally caught her and her team escaped. The Warband has already burned another planet and killed hundreds of thousands but I got my prize.

Now I need to make her repent, and I really hope I don’t need to make her see the Emperor’s wisdom through torture.

But as I look at her beautiful slim scarred body in her tight black leather suit, I didn’t think it would
