A Scouser's Thoughts on Life - Diddy Jones
Woman
There are things about a woman
some men will never know
like the farmer in his fields
with seeds he did not sow
mysteries of a woman’s life
are there for all to see
like waves upon the water
they roll back into the sea
some women want a family
that they can love and hold
her man wants a lover
that only he can hold
the wonders of the woman
and the magic that’s untold
she will love and warm you
then she will leave you cold
we can’t do without them
sometimes we wish we could
but that’s another story
like little flowers still in bud.
First Meeting
Wind in the desert whips up the sand
heartbeats increase, you’re in my arms
the first day we met I can never forget
that look in your eyes is still with me yet
that moment we were fated to meet
you’re with me angel as I fall asleep
maybe one day you’ll find in your heart
to love me forever till death us do part
for one moment a dream we did make
daylights now here and I’m wide awake
it seemed so real like waves on the sea
a dream full of love you had for me
dreams like shadows the sun takes away
fading memories in the lightness of day
darkness of night falls again as I sleep
it’s then I dream you are with me to keep
you captured my heart, first time we met
best time of my life I will never forget
sweet dreams of you I always can have
I know there not real it’s all very sad
if only, if only dreams could come true
I’d love you forever all my life through
again, the night brings me to the end
only in dreams, can a broken heart mend.
Break Up
I feel the time has come
for us
