About this ebook

THREE FISHES THAT HAD WISHES

In a beautiful neighborhood field filled with grasses and flowers, there lies a very special pond teeming with life and energy. The water in this pond is very clear and changes color throughout the day as the sun and the clouds pass by in the sky.

If you look closely, beneath the surface, you will see an underwater world—a secret place full of life and activity. Everywhere you look, there is something happening. Plants sway on the currents, bubbles arise from the sand where residents are hiding, and turtles paddle near the surface, breathing the fresh air and looking at life outside the pond.

Many unique creatures live together in this pond's community, each with its own valuable role to play in this beautiful underwater world. There is a family of fishes with three new additions—Red Fish, Blue Fish, and Yellow Fish. Mother and Father Fish have been very busy with the three little ones, each unique and curious about the world around them. Follow their story.

I was born and raised in a small town in western Michigan and grew up surrounded by nature and a large family. As a child, I was fascinated by each of the four season. They all had their own unique beauty and bountiful treasures. With each new season came it's own wonderful holidays that my family would celebrate together in a big way. Even on Mayday we would gather flowers, make little bouquets and hang them on neighbors doors to be discovered later. My love of nature and family gave me a solid foundation in life and taught me respect, appreciation for what I have, the value of hard work and being kind and helpful. It was a wonderful time and place to grow up, and as I look back I realize that my childhood was perfect. My career path has been in service to others. Firstly, I was a nanny for many years and even lived in England as a nanny. I then became a nurse and served in many different hospitals and medical settings, I was entrusted to help others, which is something I took very seriously. I've seen people at their best and also at some of the worst moments in their lives, and feel blessed to be able to offer them kindness and compassion in their hour of need. I've held the hands of people as their heart beat for the very last time and their souls took flight. Through it all, I've seen that the human spirit is capable of anything and that Mother nature gives us everything. I hope that my story inspires a spark in those who read it, and that children everywhere are called to follow their dreams, for they really do come true!
