      Flashes of silver atop the waves,

      The scent of prey drifting on every current,

      Dappled sunlight warmed him, 

      The goddess moonlight cooled him,

      Strong he grew in the gentle waves.

      But still he was discontent.

      Long he spent, atop the waves,
