When she asks Doctor Hijinx why her tooth is loose, he helps her realize that losing teeth is a natural process that is all part of growing up. When she wakes up the next morning and realizes her tooth is missing, Thompsie learns that, in time, she will grow bigger and stronger adult teeth that will stay with her forever.

Not having children i could see parent and child anxiety building.
