Chapter one
Jeremiah 18:1-6
1This word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, 2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. 3Then I went down to the potter house, and behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. 4 and the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, o house of Israel. (Jeremiah 18:1-6 KJV)
Chapter two
Daddy Can I Come Home
Daddy Can I Come Home
I looked and found
that I was alone.
And I realized that I
have lost my way home.
I lost the word that
was embedded in my heart.
And I see we are
separate and apart.
I left the path that
you laid out for me.
And the woman of God
you called me to be
I took steps that you
did not ordain.
And I have drove my
own mind insane.
I stepped out into
the world with a flame.
Now I lay dormant
like the sick and lame.
I left the coals of
the flames of my home.
And I stand here now
cold and alone.
I know and understand
that the fault is my own
That I’ve lost my way
home
I didn't pray when
the season was in and when it was out.
I removed prayer and
let my heart fill with doubt.
I feel depressed and
ashamed.
Because I caused the
dying of my own flame
I turned out the
light that was made to shine.
