Overview
This book is a journal of E.C., the old groundskeeper - tennis teacher. It is a look into his journal as he goes about his life in going to church, in working, in teaching tennis, in playing tennis, and in visiting his friends. E.C. is a secretary writing the ideas, wishes, prayers, and reflections that come through his life. He believes that certain ideas and people come through our life at certain times for a reason. He thinks that often God brings these ideas and stories to us as we go about our journey in life.
Author’s Note

Chapter One
10/1
From Church - Father Randy
Father encouraged us to look at it as what we can do for others instead of what we will get out of it. St. Thérèse, the Little Flower, encouraged us to refrain from letting the earth get in the way of our sight of heaven.
It is our privilege to be here ... to pray and to listen. Still the other side of privilege is responsibility ... our responsibility Father noted.¹
There are many things I have no control of. What I can control is my mind. May I bring my mind into the present moment and see the presence of God. May that be where I place my attention.
10/4
May I let go of my chip on my shoulder,
May I put it aside and sing,
May I live in a simpler life
in going to bed and in eating.
Everything is rushed ...
May I slow down.
It is interesting how God has created so many beautiful people. Jesus always loved people in their weakness. Jesus becomes the bread and wine through His body and His blood in order to serve us
