Whispers from God:: Miraculous Testimonies of a Supernatural Friendship
By Vicki White
()
About this ebook
When Vicki White reached a point of such brokenness that she no longer trusted her own ability to make a sound decision, she told God that if He could make use of the mess she had made of her life, He could have it. In that moment of surrender, God began to transform her heart and align her with His original plan and purpose for her life.
In an inspirational testimony, Vicki reveals the faith journey of an ordinary woman who dared to step into the mystery of friendship with our miraculous Almighty God. While inviting others into her personal story, she details not just her blessings, but also her struggles and challenges as she learned to walk in His power and authority. As she witnessed God’s amazing healing power in her life, she reveals the miracles, failures, tests of faith, and abundant blessings she received as she developed an intimate relationship with the Lord and began a passionate quest to encourage others to do the same. Whispers from God shares one woman’s journey into intimacy with God to inspire and guide others how to draw closer to Him and witness their own healings and miracles.

Go out and stand before me on the mountain,
the Lord
told him. And as Elijah stood there, the Lord passed by, and
a mighty windstorm hit the mountain. It was such a terrible
blast that the rocks were torn loose, but the Lord was not in
the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the
Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake
there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And
after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper.

About the Author
FOREWORD
…Of all the people on earth, the Lord your God
has chosen you to be his own special treasure.
Deuteronomy 7:6 (NLT)
You are a Child of the King,
An Heir of the Most High God,
Cherished, treasured, and dearly loved,
Not because of anything you have done,
But because you are His precious child
Exactly as you are, and you belong to Him.
You are a priceless treasure of exceptional worth;
Rare, highly valued, and adored by your Father in Heaven.
You are uniquely designed for a distinct purpose
That only you can fulfill.
You have been specifically created
To accomplish great and glorious things in His name.
This earth is not your home, not your final destination.
It is just a starting point, a learning experience
On the road to the greatness He has in store for you.
Your incredible journey is to be experienced and savored
Walking hand-in-hand with the One who loves you
And wants greater things for you than you could ever imagine.
I’ve never known a little girl who didn’t want to be a princess, and every little boy dreams of being a superhero at some point in their life. Have you ever wondered why? I believe those fairy tale dreams are shadows of the glorious reality we will someday experience in Heaven where we will step into the true identity and purpose God designed for us before the world began. It is a memory we can’t quite access; the reason we have a vague longing for something more – an undefiled greatness the world tells us could only be fiction within the parameters of this reality.
One of my favorite stories is of a little girl who loved her daddy above everything else in the world. Her most treasured possession was a plastic pearl necklace. Every day when her daddy would come home from work, she would run into his arms proclaiming her love for him. And every day he would respond, Do you love me enough to give me your necklace?
To which she would cry, Oh Daddy, you know I love you, but this is my most precious gift ever! Please don’t ask me to give it to you!
And he would hug her tightly, reassure her of His love, and tell her it was OK. Then one day when she proclaimed her love for him, he asked her, Do you love me more than your necklace?
With tears in her eyes, she reached up, unclasped the necklace, and gave it to him saying, Daddy, I love my necklace more than all my treasures, but I love you more than anything.
When she did that, he reached into his pocket and drew out a priceless necklace of real pearls with a golden clasp and put it around her neck as evidence of his great love for her.
This is what God has for you if you will only trust Him. He created your life and everything in it, but He also gave you freedom of choice because that is what true love does. If He forced you to love Him, it would be servitude, not love. You have a God-shaped hole in your soul only He can fill. He is the only One who can truly complete you. When you trust Him and submit your life to His perfect will, allowing Him to transform you into the person He created you to be, He will do greater things in your life than you could ever accomplish on your own. If you are willing to step into the miraculous life He intended for you, He can use you to change the world.
What are you holding onto that is preventing you from receiving God’s best for you? Would you consider opening your hands so He can give you the priceless treasures of Heaven in exchange for your plastic pearls?
Prayer: Father, thank You for loving me and revealing Your love to me. Help me let go of whatever I am holding onto so I can open my hands to receive Your best for me. Help me have the faith to believe and ask for the bigger things that only You can do. And when You work miracles through me, help me give You all the glory. I love You and want more of You in my life. Let others be drawn to You when their lives touch mine. I praise You as my good and loving Father, God, King, Lord, and Savior. I give myself to You now, all-in, with nothing held back, in Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. ~ Ephesians 3:16–20 (NLT)
INTRODUCTION
So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God
because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.
Romans 5:11 (NLT)
For years I treated God like a combination Santa Claus and my personal problem-solver. When I wanted something, it was, Please, please, please…help me get that!
Or if I made a mess of things, it was, Please, please, please…help me get out of this!
I was shooting off prayers to a vast, faceless entity without expecting Him to talk to me. Then life really got rocky -- abortion, marriage, divorce, rebound marriage, uprooting my children, mistakes upon mistakes, then another divorce, another move, more upheaval – all the time hopelessly praying at God without stopping to listen.
When I finally reached a point of such brokenness I no longer trusted my own ability to make a good decision, I cried out, God, if You can make anything of the mess I’ve made of my life, You can have it!
I vowed I would at least try to do things His way, regardless of what He asked of me. And you know what? He has been faithful every
