About this ebook
The love of my work and the poems I write are my visualisation of my own life and life experiences I have had over the years. The love for lives and my experience with my family – makes me write my life in poem form.

My Mind Sings - Jan Joshi
Here There And Everywhere
I am here at the height of
Noon
You are there in spite of the
Dhun
You and I are everywhere
Where the Sun and Moon meet
I am there and you are
Here where we have a
Fling together
You are there and I am
There where the great
Night stars are on the
Show
You and I are everywhere
With the Leo and Gemini
Together
I am here the Sagittarius
Awaiting the fine day
When the Taurus flies down
I am here and you are there
This I dedicate to you my
Dear Husband Vinay

Vin And Vinay And Nayan
Vin and Vinay go hand in hand
Vin Vinay plays a flute in the Band
Vin Vinay that has a handful of sweet jasmine buds
Vin Vinay that has a great smile of a babe
Vin Vinay has the heart of Gold
Vin Vinay quietly has the last say in a row
Vin Vinay has a great sense of humour
Vin Vinay has a pocketful of pranks
That brings laughter to the floor
Vin Vinay has the words of an author
Vin Vinay has the sight of a fighter
Vin Vinay has the Nayan of the lotus flower
Vin Vinay has the Nayan of a mischievous child
Vin Vinay has the Nayan of a speeding star
Vin Vinay has the Nayan
That sang the songs of love hand in hand

This is just a way to show my children and grandchildren to see the world with their own eyes and other people’s eyes around them.
To understand and so make their own version and understanding clear.

Sunshine – Moonshine
Here the sun shines as high as might
The moon shines as cool as sight
Here the sun is yellow as pellow
The moon has a blue hew as a bellow
Here the sun is bright as the fire round the ring
The moon is calm and cool as the heavenly song that sings.

Words from Chimaya Udghosh:
Every action is imperfect and with imperfect lie sorrows. Look straight into the eyes of the problem with a smile on the lips, a smile has the strength to cope with a thousand problems.

Hews of Grass
The green green hew of grass
The sea arisen dew
Down the morning grass
As a carpet of dew
Here we are bound to
The green green hew
The sea green dew.

Life’s Roundabout
Round the roundabout of life
One turns right the other turns left
One turns straight
One turns back along the roundabout of life
Lost in the swaying
Garden of the round
No beginning no end

Goodnight
Sleep the baby through the night
Rock to sleep till the sleep is out of sight
The songs of life are sung as a psalm
On the onward bound sleep all through the night
Hearing the psalm of life
One bellows out all
