About this ebook

Beth has always been every bit the proper wife. She wore nice clothes, gossiped with other ladies, and kept her husband satisfied in bed. Yet no matter how many nights they spent together, something was missing.

On the flight home from a vacation, Beth finally realizes what's been missing - adventure. She'd traded her thigh high boots and risky sex for expensive heels and the same old routine. Deciding to spice things up, she decides to start right now, on the airplane.

I set down the book I was reading and let out a sigh. No more overnight flights, I vowed to myself. They're so ungodly boring it's a wonder even the pilots can stay awake. The ugly blue and grey contraptions the airline called chairs were only half full.

Not many people were dumb enough to fly across country in the middle of the night. The few that had chosen this journey were sound asleep, though how they could sleep in such uncomfortable chairs was still a mystery. Only a couple were still awake - a teenager a few rows back with his headphones on, a business man who seemed to be watching cartoons on his laptop, and a housewife absorbed in a paper back.

Then there was James and me. There was no way I'd be able to sleep, so I'd tried to read a bit of the mystery novel I'd grabbed at the airport. James had his own headphones on as he stared absently
