The 113th Sector - Richard Marin
Chapter 0. A Very Dangerous Universe
In the remoteness of the dark universe, where only imagination can reach, at trillions of light-years away, an adventure is about to begin. Like when the Big Bang unleashed its power of cosmic creation in the past.
An adventure that hangs over a group of very peculiar individuals who exist thanks to the imagination of those who believe in them. It is a chain of events that will throw the galaxy into chaos.
Because the Galaxy is on the verge of collapsing. . . .
Galactic Bands!
Adventures in a crazy universe with even crazier creatures.
Chapter 1. The 113th Sector
Just below the Quantitative Forts Cluster, above Andromeda, and among the timid eon-energy stellar rocks known as The Sucrose Rockies, a young Banananian attempts to survive the stormy electrical precipitation of neutron Forts clouds with his ship.
It is about Banon, a youthful adventurer in search of what some wrongly refer to as pirate's fame
. Banon is quite innocent and has been fooled by his study colleagues
in sector 44, a bunch of silustians out to mock the newcomer. In truth, it was a challenge that drove the tragic folly of entering Sector 113, often known as the Tomb of the Living.
The young banananian believes that he can prove his interstellar worth by finding the hidden treasure of the robotic TEKNOPODE ancestor of the EVAR clan, named U-TRECH. It's a key that can unlock the interdimensional door that leads to The Abysses of Caun, where the universe's largest Galactic Silver treasure can be located with the vision of CO2.
A plunder accumulated as a result of the EVAR clan's repeated pirate looting.
However, his ship's ergotramic channeling system is malfunctioning, and the collision sensors have been activated. From the little cockpit, an orchestra of alarms and sirens blares. Worst of all, the rhodometric heater has stopped working.
So, Banon is about to run out of oxygen, his ears are about to burst, and the ship's temperature is dropping at an alarming rate.
Chapter 2. Banon Survives
Our protagonist has been adrift for an hour. He has lost control and feels lost in the vastness of the universe. Sector 113 has long been regarded as one of the most dangerous locations in the cosmos, and Banon can already feel the danger on his skin.
Banon is anxiously trying to find a rocky area on which to land his Alpha-Proto Ship. However, he is running out of air, making it increasingly harder for him to stay awake and control the ship.
The Alpha-Proto's locatable beacon indication is glowing, waiting for the ship's owner to activate it so DEFFCON patrols can reach the spacecraft in trouble. However, the owner must be present, as the indication can only be activated by the shipowner's hyper-sensory sweat scan. And Banon isn't the owner, of course.
Some would call it a little acquisition
, while others would label it a fool's errand.
Well, Banon, on the other hand, has never been someone to embark on an adventure with. And it’s even more difficult for him to commit a robbery. Much less likely to be the mastermind behind a venture into uncharted territory or unknown sectors.
So, right now, the banananian is wondering to himself, Why the hell did I have to do the 'piñata'? I am, in fact, a banana!
You should already be aware that banananians aren't particularly bold. Rather, they are beings who prefer the serenity of their lowly Platanic world's banana fields. Those bananas who reside in sectors far from their home planet, however, are frequently duped by more suspicious aliens. Banon isn't an exception.
Despite his tiredness, he makes an effort. Attempt to stay alive. The calculations start to blur, and the cockpit lights start to take on serpentine shapes. They begin as geometric, then become amorphous, and finally, fade between glittering lines.
And, just when it appears like another case of disappearance in Sector 113 is on the horizon, a lucky break allows the young banana to live another day. Banon is still alive.
Chapter 3. Who Is Trumf?
A tiny, bright red point appears on the northerly radar, scarcely visible to worldly eyes. A minuscule speck on the screen, but noticeable enough to a banananian’s acute eye. Maybe because banananians are distinguished by their distinctive yellowish skin and their single central eye.
This tiny dot could be Banon's salvation. You already know that something bright on a medium-quality radar is the equivalent of a spaceship. But also could be some kind of subteruniversal creature, the kind that roams the universe at pleasure, feeding on eons, protophasic particles, and little spacecrafts that have gone missing and are half-dead.
Banon decides to send a warning message. He tries luck. He activates the intercom and sends out the typical distress signal that he learned in Sector 44’s first classes: a tapping of buttons that forms a hyper sensory tune—we won't go any farther because such an explanation would take us away from the primary issue.
A few minutes pass, and Banon, as we have already noted, is on the last. The reddish speck moves and is getting closer to the Alpha-Proto. But nothing at all. How is it possible? At
