GOOD  SOUNDS 

I know of words

hiding in the silence of the soul

resting in the dark...

afraid to come to the open

patiently breathing while waiting

for us.

Begging us to give them shelter

they hope for any exposure

to acknowledge their existence

if put together in verses

where meaning displays its value.

With the help of human voice

the words can be brought to life

through a reading fully charged

with rhythm and true good sounds.

When we come to think about it

this is a simple resource

that could produce a new poem

uniquely profound.
