Recent activities: I was interviewed internationallyand internationally on my research on blacks in Hawaii, gave ZOOM lectures, several podcasts,co-produced a jazz night in Honolulu, gave presentation at the UN/NGO, performed in severallocal and national poetry readings on line and recently in San Francisco; and in 2020 curated apublic library Black History month featuring local Black artists and a virtual walking tour at theHawaii Museum of Art, consulted on film on Martin Luther King, Jr. in Hawaii (1959) and hisinfluence in the islands.
