    A telephone booth

    Rain is pouring down a telephone booth

    A man is inside the telephone booth

    Scene 2

    Slyer’s flat

    Thunder and followed by lightning which enlightens the flat through the windows as the phone starts to ring.

    Deborah picks up the telephone receiver.

    She hears Man 1’s voice and asks,

    How did you know about me?

    She hears Man 1 saying,

    I’m not allowed to tell you that.

    Do you still have any doubts?

    Deborah

    I can’t say, I haven’t!

    Man 1

    Why?

    Deborah

    You are playing a double game, aren’t you?

    Scene 3

    Rain is pouring down, thunder and followed by lightning.

    Man 1 continues,

    Listen carefully, I don’t want to prolong the war nor am…

    Scene 4

    Deborah’s flat, she interrupts him and says,

    That’s why you made the gas, to shorten and to win the war?

    Man 1

    I’m not the one whom you are looking for, not a war follower…

    Deborah

    I didn’t have that impression after following your invitation to the Chelsea house.

    Man 1

    Nevertheless, tell Slyer that we need to speak to him, after all, he is your husband and listens
