    Trash - M.J.P. S.S.

    Introduction

Wow, there's writing to be done here too...no way. One question. What the rays are you doing here?! There were clearly notices. Well, but where are my manners, this is not a correct way to treat anyone. Now starting a bit seriously this is the introduction and this just means free space. It's like a vacuum. If you don't believe it just look. And this is where I tell the truth a little be. I'm sorry to tell you that you are inside a dumpster. I ramble and rondo so much that I stumble and inadvertently fall to the bottom of a void. A silence fills the air. Accompanied by a dense sense of darkness and calm. Surrounding and allowing to see.

Once upon a perhaps, there was an immensity of problems. Landing in conflicts and wars. Destruction and sadness reigned in the chaos. But all was not lost there was still something. The perfection. It was there where a new society emerged from the darkness giving way to that goal.

    Chapter 1

    Stop it

Exploring the mysterious place, the distant silhouettes of two strangers were exploring deeper and deeper into the dense vegetation. Until one of them, totally exhausted, leaned back on the stump of a palm tree and with bated breaths said, "Wait, but what humidity, I'm tired.

The other stopped and looking at his companion replied. —Lato I...I understand you but...ut we don't... we don't have much time. Lato took a long breath of the humid fresh air and when he recovered he took out of his pocket a watch. When he saw it a carefree smile appeared on his face - don't worry Beowulf, we still have time.

After saying this, the two resumed their uneven course. Lato stumbled lightly through the undergrowth. He felt his bandages burning under his socks. Still, without getting discouraged, he looked around him. The thicket of different greens accompanied by the harmonious sounds was comforting. A few rays of sunlight filtered through the intertwined branches and dappled the spongy leaf litter. They passed through a large clump of bushes but Lato bumped into one of the bushes and almost fell over and stopped.

-Hey, are you all right," asked Beowulf.

Lato nodded and replied, "Yes, I was been to fall but I caught myself in time. Beowulf pointed to his hand in surprise. Lato nonchalantly looked at it, it was clinging to a random brown, scraggly branch bordered by a nice vine. Nothing out of the ordinary but seeing its soft green leaves. He quickly let go of it when he realized it was a nettle -Beowulf, have you got the first aid kit?

-Yes, I'm coming. Beowulf checked his backpack and began to take things out, some musical notes came out accompanied by a melody -La...lato you left your console on? Beowulf asked. Lato took the small machine and listened to the music for a moment -It seems that yes, hey what do you advise me to try to pass the crown level but that enemy is very difficult especially when he uses the glorious ray.

Beowulf looked thoughtfully at the console and answered -A ...to me also it cost me that ni...level, you have the overcutx3 that defeats it...it defeats it.

Lato turned off the console and started scratching the back of his head -Okay, I'll see you later. - But he turned away immediately when he felt a strong itch -Hay, my hand is swelling.

Beowulf searched again in his backpack -Wait a...a little bit, I'm almost there.

After a while the temperature began to cool down. Nearby a soft rustling could be heard. Next to it stretched a river of chocolate-colored water dotted with dispensable aquatic plants with pointed leaves. The sound of the water and the current increased as twigs and leaves slipped playfully. They crossed a curtain of vines and small blue flowers. Seeing that the small space surrounded by moss-covered trees was wide enough, they stopped to rest. Beowulf sat down on a stone and took out a notebook. Seeing Lato scratching the back of his neck, he knew what was happening when his friend began to write. Bored, he stopped to watch. Insects fluttered amusedly and the soft chirping of birds could be heard. In the distance a few mushrooms peeked through the dense vegetation. He pulled on his fluffy pink cap. He felt a sense of peace and calm embrace him. Yawning, he sat down next to a tree and remembered his mission. He had been investigating and studying in depth some strange incidents in an abandoned place. There he came across a somewhat battered report which explained that a few years ago the site had fallen into disrepair because of a strange catastrophe. In another equally horrible place he found some writings that said about another one in the rainforest, which had even destroyed some ships. Lato clearly knew that shady things were going on and wanted to know what had happened.

Surprisingly a darkness quickly surrounded him along with the loud sound of cracking and tearing. Lato stood up but everything around him was calm and orderly. Confused, he started to walk but stopped. He turned around and saw that it was simply a plastic wrap that had fallen out of one of his pockets. He picked it up. He noticed that Beowulf was still writing. Definitely, even if he was in danger, he would not listen to him. A light wind blew through, blowing some leaves and Lato regained his composure and headed back to where he was but then stopped when he felt a strong shock. Reacting, he opened his eyes again. Beowulf closed his notebook and stood up but saw that Lato was static -What happened? Lato, catching his breath, replied, Nothing, just my imagination. Lato looked back at the wooded path and a little surprised continued, Hey, you saw that. Beowulf turned around. In the distance, through the darkness of the trees, the silhouette of someone could be seen. The two approached silently. It was a girl wearing a beige hat and goggles. -What is she doing here? Beowulf asked. Lato scratched, I don't know, but we should warn her. Beowulf turned around horrified -It's...you...are...crazy, you...don't...notice t...t...t...he...hasn't...talked...to...to...anybody. Lato smiled -New record, one word. -It...is...not...time...for...jokes. Beowulf complained. -Okay, I'm sorry, but I say the right thing to do would be to let him know. Lato answered -That's...true, b...but we have to be c...careful. Beowulf answered. The two agreed and silently approached each other. -What a novelty, I hadn't seen that bush. The girl changed direction and took a notebook out of her backpack and approached it. The two turned to look at each other in confusion but nodded again ridiculously. They followed close behind her. Beowulf nervously began to gasp for air but before he could bring himself to speak to her. The girl suddenly turned to the side, How nice, a mouse. Then she cautiously turned away. The girl stopped and picked up a twig. It went towards some raised leaves. At the sight of them she smiled excitedly, How nice, a toxic mushroom sprout. The girl puffed out her cheeks and began to carefully remove the leaves. Beowulf and Lato alarmingly started pulling things out of their backpacks. Beowulf found a mask but when he saw that there was only one he turned around worriedly but Lato had his face covered with his hat with his thumb up. The girl stopped moving the leaves and looked at some small gray mushrooms - How curious! Beowulf answered. -Can I see now? Lato asked. The girl started walking again and Lato and Beowulf followed her for a long time. Tired, they hid behind some bushes, I'm tired, my feet are burning. Lato complained. -I'm thirsty, we must find a solution. They both stopped to think -What if we make some noise. Lato proposed. -But he can be a...frightened. Beowulf answered. -There is only one way to find out. Lato replied as he smiled nonchalantly. Beowulf nodded in better spirits. The two separated and began to make noise. The girl turned and curiously approached. -Good. Lato cheered but stumbled and fell in front of her. Getting up, he tried to talk to her. But when he saw her, he realized that she was shaking and looked at him with wild eyes. She was frightened. Lato took a few steps but then she started to run -I...I told you. Beowulf complained. The two followed her -Wait miss, we don't want to hurt you! Lato exclaimed but it was useless, she kept running. The girl stopped in front of a cliff. Lato and Beowulf caught up with her. Then she jumped down the cliff in horror. Lato quickly managed to reach her arm -This place will be destroyed. A shadow covered them. The ground began to shake and out of the trees came a gigantic metallic monstrosity. It stopped as its shiny surface reflected the sun's rays. Everything came to a standstill as a silence of fear and panic pervaded the room. A loud boom echoed and a great cloud of black smoke rose up. The machinery began to advance destroying everything in its path. Its huge iron claws reached for whatever they could and ripped out its victims, and with its great appetite, it directed them to its back where it devoured them. Its sharp gray teeth whirled as it chewed, throwing bits and pieces everywhere. Everywhere the silent screams and cries could be heard along with footsteps being silenced. Other machinery approached as ships flew overhead. The girl seeing them terrified and angry clenched her fists and shouted, Stop it! A strange crackling sound is heard. A dark blue beam appears and hits one of the ships. It explodes, Stop! she shouted again, That's stop! The girl turned around in fright. Then she clenched one of her fists and hit her head. Lato advanced to where she was -La...Lato be careful not to...we must a...risk it. Beowulf answered. Lato carried her by the shoulder -she hit herself, she is unconscious. -Trash or know just as R.S. surrender, they are enemies of society. A group of black-uniformed gentlemen in helmets surrounded them. Beowulf quickly stepped in front of them, Lato, take her to a safe place, he said. I then...go al...reach them. Surprisingly Beowulf felt a strong blow on his back. Sprawled on the ground he turned around. One of the soldiers was stepping on him and pointing his gun at him. The soldier began to laugh, How pathetic, it's just trash, the soldier pressed his foot harder. -They are not worth killing. -Then he kicked him. Beowulf groaned, Just look at this stutterer, he is disgusting and shameful, his presence is pitiful, The soldier put away his weapon and shook himself a little while a slight chuckle could be heard in the back. The soldier kicked him again like a cork, stretched his tired arms and yawning continued, "As I told you, this thing doesn't deserve honor or respect, something like this should understand how to double its pathetic existence.

-You will not be able to do...to bend honor. Beowulf got up slowly. Already on his feet he continued, "Wh...who is someone who knows honor if they step is crushing?

-But before he could continue, Beowulf, wielding his wooden sword, gave him a strong blow in the abdomen, and he fell to the ground with groans of pain. -Next time, watch your step, he said. The other frightened soldiers backed away and started to run -Well done. Lato congratulated him behind some plants, I...I told you to leave. Beowulf replied. -I wouldn't leave a friend. Lato replied. The destructive noise was getting closer and closer. The two reached a very flat ship. Lato turned it on. The radio began to play. Chataovis, this is no time to sing or play music. Lato replied as he turned it off. Beowulf looked at the board with a few brown leaves. -It's nice, but it's a little strange. Lato let out a light chuckle but stopped when he heard a groan. Lato scratched the back of his head. Until behind him a light bulb came on. Then he began to gently rub the steering wheel. Beowulf raised an eyebrow at the scene -What are you... doing? Lato was surrounded by some nice strange things -Chataovis is very sensitive, in order to work with her you must be respectful and kind. Beowulf looked at the window and replied, No offense...das but I don't...believe...you. At that moment the vehicle turned off. Beowulf again looked at the window and horrified at the sight outside replied -it's...it's okay, I'm...I'm sorry. The engine started again. Lato stepped on the accelerator and they pulled away.

    Maybe it would continue.

    Chapter 2

    The Forgotten

What?! Again. What stubbornness! A boat can be heard from deep inside. Why are you still here? You came to look for something. I'm sorry but there's nothing here but garbage. But it's already been mentioned that this is a garbage dump, hasn't it? The boat is getting louder and louder and faster. If you don't heed the warnings...you may regret it. Take my advice and leave before it's too late. But are you curious? If you should be afraid, ha.  Well, it doesn't really matter... How disgusting, I wish you would disappear. At that moment he hears a loud bang and something from the void comes out and hits him in the face. His vision suddenly darkens.

A spotlight flickered violently. Laila stood up quickly. She turns to see some strange shadows in a corner. A little surprised, she got out of bed and found her hat and goggles. They were lying on the floor. Somewhat annoyed, she picked them up and put them under a bandage she had. But she felt an annoying shock and quickly took them off and undid the bandage. She felt a liquid sensation on her forehead and when she touched her forehead she saw that blood was still dripping. -It would be better if you didn't take it off. She heard the keys of a harpsichord. Laila stuck to the wall in fear. In front of her stood a young woman with long hair, wearing a strange coat and dark leather boots. She began to walk calmly into the room. She picked up the thrown cap and handed it to her -Don't be frightened. I won't hurt you. Laila grabbed her belongings, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disturb. The mysterious girl gave a long, relaxed sigh, slightly lifting one of her long, dark locks that covered her face. -It's okay, you're not the first. Let me introduce myself, I'm Falak. Laila smiled -Huh?...my name is Laila...thank you for giving me my hat. Falak looked at her with her capri blue eye and smiled back, You're welcome.

Laila looked at the place and asked, Excuse me, but do you know where my backpack is? a question mark came out of Falak, It's next to the bed. Laila turned around confused. -I didn't realize it was there, thank you. Laila put on her hat and grabbed her backpack and headed for it, but it gave her a start. Falak fixed her hair. Her other eye was currant red, it was watching strongly. Laila lowered her head in sorrow. Falak took another deep breath and replied. -It was a blow, but it happened a long time ago. Laila looked up. Falak continued. - You'd better not bother to answer, with me there is no problem, but you should be more prudent, you don't know what it might cause if not. Falak went to the door. -Come, it wasn't a scolding...I was asked to take you to the fortress, but do you want to come? Laila answered, Ecole. Falak recovered his smile and opened the exit and answered, I hoped so. The two left the place and started walking down a dark corridor. The walls and ceiling were surrounded by rusty and dirty pipes with a few cobwebs. The lighting was very dim as at uneven distances a few small lamps attached to the sides gave a soft light with a yellowish tinge - Be careful. Sometimes they infiltrate. Falak commented. -What things? Laila asked. But Falak kept walking without listening to her.

They stopped in front of a battered wooden door: "I'm leaving, that's the box fortress over there. Someone wants to talk to you, but if you prefer, there is the way out. Falak pointed to the door and then pointed to one that was far down the hall. Laila answered him but when she looked at it again she noticed it was gone. Laila took a deep breath and clenched her fists and nodded. She went to the door but before opening it she stopped and took a few steps back. She glanced at the other door but quickly shook her head.

Then he headed back to the entrance. But before touching the doorknob he stopped. He shook his head again and tried to touch it but his hand stopped. He then gripped it and decided to touch it but the same thing happened. -It must be dirty. Laila answered with a grimace of disgust. She turned around and looked at the place. Be careful. Sometimes they infiltrate. Falak's words echoed behind Laila. Again she glanced at the door. It must be dirty. She repeated her thought to herself giving her disgust. She looked down the dark hallway Be careful. Sometimes they infiltrate. I look back at the door It must be dirty. I check the hallway. I analyze the door. I stalk the hallway. I examine the door. I inspect the hallway. Curious about the door. Desperately I look at the other exit -No, I didn't come all this way to leave him. He's too much of a coward. She said to herself. She looked back to the wooden doorway but an unpleasant shock hit her. Then she started with the same thing but now with the three options. -I've had enough. Laila complained. Then she took a few firm steps towards the entrance. Which was very grimy and dusty, not to mention even a little bit dingy. Laila thought about the large amount of germs. An image of her hand opening the gate, in which a large number of disgusting things stuck to it were crawling up her arm appeared in her mind. A strong shock left her paralyzed while a large number of repulsive images of disgusting things continuously ran through her mind like a merry-go-round. Laila shook her head and looked at the entrance. It gave her the impression that it was taunting her, there with its splintery exits and its worn, dusty wood. -But how disgusting...what a mess. he complained grumpily. But looking back at her he replied, "All right, don't think you can mock me, even if it's pathetic, I'm coming in, you hear? The door only remained rigid without answering...clearly. Laila felt more confident and placed herself in front of it. With slight doubts she tried to find a way to convince herself. If these things were just a deception of her own hidden fear then why couldn't she do the same? She imagined that if she knocked repeatedly to help her feel better, it was possible that the fake things would stick to the door. Laila thought possibly that someone was behind the door. The unpleasantness once again ran through her mind in a worse way as the fear took hold. She shook her head hard and knocked gently and kindly on the door. Only with a few slight shifts. There was nothing but immense silence. Laila clenched her fists and turned the knob.

It was a dusty room filled with worn boxes everywhere. These were arranged unevenly as columns and walls. The lighting was even lower than that of the hallway, the only light coming in through a small flat skylight. The sound of the keys of a solitary piano could be heard. Dust hung in the air, flooding the air with the smell of cardboard. Laila walked through the place feeling a heavy sadness in the air. Silence returned. In the distance between the stacked boxes and the slight fall of light, a boy with dark unruly hair and a very strange dress could be seen with his back turned -Hey. There was the sound of keys being tapped. Laila turned around confused. It seemed as if the columns had moved -You should pay more attention. Laila turned and saw an old man with dark gray hair sitting on one of the boxes. He was wearing a simple light-colored T-shirt with a brown coat and pants with a few curious patches. He smiled. -You dared to open the door, didn't you? Why don't you ask something?

      -Where am I? asked Laila.

-Isn't it obvious? In the box fortress.

Laila looked even more confused. The man got a little discouraged and answered. -I see, things change...these kids now...when was the last time I went out...I still remember...wow...he smiled again -You don't go out much? do you? Laila lowered her head, No. The gentleman settled back into his stiff seat, You ran away, didn't you, you got lost too, didn't you? Laila nodded. The man gave a slight chuckle, You're afraid, aren't you? Laila responded in kind. The gentleman bowed his head -What a surprise, it can be an excellent... The gentleman shook a little dust off his shoulder -Hey, you don't like that, do you, why don't we make a deal? Laila turned to look at him. His lively cardboard brown eyes looked deep into her eyes. -Are you sure, would it be too late to regret it, although I can see it's already happened to you, but you're drowning so much. Laila nodded. He stood up and extended his arm. They shook hands, Then it's a deal. The master replied with a slight sadness. He sat back down and encouraged himself again and continued, Okay, let me introduce myself, I am Oliver, the forgotten one of the society, it is a pleasure to meet you Laila, the tribe told me about you before they came. Surprised Laila looked up, The last tribe, you talk about them, you know them.

Oliver took a chuckling breath and replied, "Yes, they were also members of Trash, their great loyalty to them, us and our values meant that they were able to protect the last of the ecosystems and us. You were really lucky to meet them when you got lost.

Laila looked at the dirty ground -Yes, but even so, the society ended up with them.

Oliver's face darkened -We won't forget them, what my friends and family did for us, their loyalty we won't forget...neither will you, don't forget. Oliver leaned his head back quite curiously -It's strange that you don't feel fear, you know how scary they are...you know what's behind their perfection, it's not easy especially when they can't take it, right?...well, as I was saying I'm glad you joined the team, welcome to Trash, you are one of us...even so don't forget to be careful with the... Oliver got up from his chair and walked towards a box from which he took a radio -Excuse me for a moment, I have to give some indications. After a while he sat down again, "There, thank you. He looked at the great fortress of boxes, which looked less battered -Despite everything changes around, no matter the place, the time or the circumstances, I am always the same, I do not forget myself or what I appreciated, but I see that it is usually easier and forget it, because...I know that everyone is different like these boxes that may seem normal at first glance but inside there may be more. Laila asked. -The boxes have something in them? Oliver started laughing. -Not all of them are empty, I feel better when I have my own fortress. Oliver looked at his radio and continued -Back to what I was saying...memory is also an asset, even though it seems to disappear, to be ignored or forgotten, it is still there, it is more than it seems. The door opened and the footsteps of a bandoneon could be heard. Laila turned around with curiosity and grimaced when she recognized the subject.

-Finally you arrive. Oliver complained. A tall, clean-shaven young man with a slightly rounded nose, he was wearing a dull light brown T-shirt with a pair of simple pants of the same color but darker, the strangest thing about his basic outfit was a big fluffy pink cap from which only a few brown hairs had grown out. He stopped in front of them and scratching the back of his neck replied, It seems so, sorry for the delay. Then he leaned his hand on one of the columns and smiling at them with his brown leafy eyes he continued, I don't know how to introduce myself...but I'll start with a hello, I'm Lato, it's a pleasure. But after saying this, the column he was standing on collapsed, knocking over the boxes. Oliver shook his head -I had to be the only one available, put that back. Lato adjusted his hat and replied, Yes, boss. Oliver grimaced, How many times have I told you not to call me that? Lato awkwardly rearranging things turned around a little startled, "Sorry, boss. -Dahj never mind. replied Oliver. Lato stopped and took three watches from a box. -I'm sorry...but you didn't tell us that you had already left them. Lila leaned her head back. -Of course I did. I didn't want to tell you...but I'm a hoarder, however, I don't have things anymore...I just have these empty boxes. Oliver took a slight pause and with a slightly contented tone continued -I admit I like having this fortress it gives an effect of moving like a maze. Lato finished arranging the last box and stumbled over to them. -He is a little clumsy but he knows the ships well, he will take you to yours. Oliver answered, giving Lato an indirect look. -Yes, boss. Lato replied decisively. Oliver gave himself a frustrated slap in the face.

Lato began to move forward and Laila continued his pace to the exit. They walked down the passageway. Lato took awkward but cheerful and firm steps while Laila followed him with stealthy and silent ones. Lato watched her for a moment and saddened thought, She doesn't speak. He must have gone through some difficult things Laila thought What's wrong with this man because he keeps watching...he looks suspicious...I really don't like him then she turned back Be careful. Sometimes they infiltrate. Laila looked back at Lato.

They stood in front of a metal door. They entered a narrow passage with ropes on the ceiling. Some leaks with an intense wind noise passed by as it wobbled abruptly. Lato began to walk through the unstable place -Don't panic, it's one of the corridors connecting the ships, it moves because of the air currents. -Ok. Laila almost lost her balance and grabbed one of the ropes. -What is your name? Lato asked. Laila answered. -What a name is too long, difficult and strange, I have a hard time with it. Lato was surrounded by strange cheerful and positive things. -Well, Laila, I hope we will be good friends. Hearing him Laila grimaced as a lot of negative thoughts
