He woke up in the middle of the night with the sound of the bedroom door opening.

He thought the noise was just a dream.

Half past one in the morning.

Total darkness.

Fred Smith turned the pillow over and closed the eyes.

A shiver went up his spine.

A chill that made him open his eyes again.

There was something wrong.

He looked into the darkness of his room.

Even in the dark, Fred distinguished two small white balls.

A pair of white eyes watching over him.

There was a switch near the headboard.

But he didn't push the switch to turn on the light.

He was afraid.

He was not prepared to see anyone inside his room.

Who could it be?

That pair of eyes could just be Fred's imagination, maybe.

Just hit the switch and find out the truth.

But... What if there was someone there?

Those two little white balls approached the bed.

They were inhuman eyes.

Fred's blood ran cold.

Who would be in his room?

There was only one way to find out.

Just push the light switch.

The lamp light would dispel any doubt.

And that's what Fred did. He turned on the light switch.

The light came on and illuminated the room.
