It is deep night and a young woman runs through the silent bathing town. Exhausted of the several injuries, she needs a break. In early august it is already a little bit cold. In such cool air is hard to breath. She is nervous and looking around herself. Someone is hunting her. She knows she must hide somewhere or get anyone to help her. She continues to run over the bridge on the other side of the river. No light in any of the window of the houses.

It looks like a ghost town. The girl is slowing down. She is too much tired. Just turn on the edge of a building and flee into the bushes to hide and get some rest. She sat down, shaking from the fear of her life. Now she is confused. Really don’t know what she should do, where she can get help? Tears come out of her eyes. While crying like this, she didn’t get that somebody is close.

The hunter spotted her in the bush. Slowly walks towards her. Now she hears steps. She stopped to cry and trying to calm down her breath, covering her lips with her hands. Listen to that persons march. Seems like the human left. She lays her head on her knees. She thinks she is safe now. Suddenly a hand appears, grabbed her hair and pulled her out of the bush. Just a light reflect from the public light in the knife and a small scream of the girl. The swoosh sound of stabbing disappear in the sound of the water from the river.

The next morning Ms. Novakova goes out with the trash. She was spotting something red in the bushes. The old lady comes closer and starts to scream. A young girl covered in blood is lying under the bush. Immediately people emerge on the windows and other run from all sides to her. Someone called the police. Soon they arrived and secured the place. Policemen starting to ask people around if they did see something tonight. Nobody could help them.

Ms. Novakova is still in shock and cannot speak. Stunned sitting in the ambulance and holding a breathing mask in her left hand. The doctor checking her blood pressure on her right arm to be sure, she didn’t get any heart attack.

A black car stops next to the ambulance. A tall young man in his thirties gets of the dark vehicle. His clothes match with the color of the automobile. Long raven hair is waving in the nice breeze. He comes to the ambulance where Ms. Novakova is still sitting. A warm smile appears on that guys face. He takes down his sun glasses and introduces himself:

"I am detective Tai-Hua Li or just Mr. Li. Are you Ms. Novakova?"

The still shocked woman nod to him. She feels already better so she put down the breathing mask from her face and waiting for some questions from the young man.

"Well, today you took out the trash. Isn’t that so? Were you alone on the street? How about something weird around?"

He took out a notebook with a small pen and was ready to notice anything about this murder.

"I came out like always this time of the morning. I approached the bins and when I turned to go back home, I seen something in the bush. It was red so I thought someone threw part of clothes there, but I got a shock. The poor girl laid there in her blood. I screamed and everybody came to me who heard me. I didn’t see anything strange around, just what I already said."

The old lady was whipping the tears from her face.

Disappointed of this short answer he puts back the notebook with the pen in the back of his pants. Tai sticks his hands into the pockets of the jacket and slowly walks to the dead body. The forensic doctor was already examining it. He had a serious look on his face. Tai was impatient and very curious.

"Hey, Steve! What can you tell me about the killer’s profile?"

"Seems, like we have here a very aggressive individual. Look at her face."

    (Pointing on her head)

"She is covered with bruises and the number of the stabs… Until now I could count around twenty and still not finished with it. This poor girl made someone very mad and I think she was also a victim of rape. Can tell you later when I will have the body in the pathology. But still don’t understand the fashion of kids these days. Why dolls clothes?"

A wrinkle appeared on Tai’s forehead. He knows that this will be a hard case. He turned to the other office worker to get information about the evidence. He failed. A big zero was found.

This point made the whole thing much more complicated. He has nothing else to do, just start to question people and searching for a witness of that crime. Tai decided to go back to his office and start to plan how to solve the case. At first he has to identify the victim and to wait until he will get some information’s from Steve.

    Chapter 2

Steve called Tai and asked him to visit the pathology. He was there immediately. Tai wanted hear good news about the case. He hoped it will start to move and evidence for catching the killer would finally appear. Tai entered the nice looking hospital. It had bright colors and a good spanning fragrance. He fast moved into the elevator and pushed the button for the ride to hell, the morgue. He really hated that scary place. Every time he came to that area of the hospital, he had a freaky feeling that the dead bodies watching him. The smell of the sterilizer hung in the air. Some lamps didn’t work so that made this place even creepier.

Some bodies which were out of the fridges were covered just with a green blanket and ready to be inspected. Tai found Steve while he was working on another body. Tai didn’t go direct to him. His phobia was far stronger than his bravery. Steve smiled and came to him. Both raised their hands for shaking, but Tai seen his bloody gloves so he moved his hand up. Steve started to laugh and was putting them down. Finally they could shake hands.

"I am sorry, I forgot. I have news about
