About this ebook
I Left the Occult for Christ is a memoir that shares my story about finding Jesus and eventually leaving the occult. I was an occult practitioner for many years -- for more than 15 years. I was a solitary practitioner who engaged in various practices, and I also had various friends in the occult. Somewhere along the way, I met Christ, perhaps He came to me -- or, I cannot tell -- but He was there with me and for me, and I was touched by a grace that I could not describe. It was pure and divine. It was heavenly.
I Left the Occult for Christ is a testament of my own experience, and I hope that my reader would learn something valuable from this book. This story is not just for those who are in the occult, but it is for everyone who is looking for true spirituality and spiritual direction. I would like to clarify as early as now that my approach to following Christ is not the usual just-follow-what-your-religion-tells-you approach. No -- for I do not even associate myself with any religion. Rather, my approach to Christ is deeply intimate and personal, and anyone can do the same. After all, Christianity is not a religion. Hence, you do not need to be baptized into any Christian religion before you can get to know Christ and follow Him.
But why would I even follow Christ? Jesus Christ has loved me even before I even learned about Him, even before I even learned to read and write. He is also the God who turned human, and so you can be sure that He understands what you are going through as a human being. Unlike other gods that would require you to do a complicated ritual before you can connect to them, you can connect and pray to Jesus at any time, and without need of any ritual. Moreover, when it comes to having real spirituality, then rest assured that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Indeed, there are more than a thousand reasons to follow Him. He is God the Almighty. I mean, instead of asking why we should follow Him, maybe a better question is: why not? Just do it, and see wonders and miracles unfold in your life.
I Left the Occult for Christ is a confession of faith that came from doubts and many deep occult practices. I want to clarify that I was not doubting the occult. Indeed, it is real. Even now, I can say with certainty that spells and the occult arts are real. However, I will also confess that Jesus Christ is real, and He is much more than all the spells and magic out there. He is God Almighty.
I hope this book may be a guiding light to my readers, and may this book lead you to the One True Light, where you can experience true spirituality and happiness. This is not just my story, for it can be a story for anyone with a soul. Come and see.
