Lydia Rynne
Lydia is a writer for stage and screen. A finalist in BFI/Creative England's Funny Girls scheme, Lydia penned the short film Nugget Love which was selected as a Sundance Ignite Finalist. Her one woman play Hear Me Howl premiered in London in March 2018 and went on to the Plymouth and Edinburgh fringe festivals in Summer 2018.
The Buzz was first performed at The Bread & Roses Theatre from 8th to 19th May 2018, after coming top 3 in The Bread & Roses Playwriting Award 2016/2017. It was presented with the following cast and creatives:

Early hours of the morning. The open plan kitchen-lounge of a luxury London penthouse. On a glass coffee table, there is an open laptop. The TV plays a celebrity gossip channel that we can barely make out but can be continuous throughout.
Voices off. The door to the flat swings open and KYLA and JOSH enter, KYLA mid-rant.
KYLA - and I’m like, I get it, you’re happy, but you’ve got
a thousand other people here most of them wanting to
get on with winning slash losing their awards and a
million more people watching at home waiting for an ad
break to go fetch their shepherd’s pie out the
microwave -
Josh simultaneously scans the laptop, his phone, and glances up at the TV, while KYLA chucks her belongings aside and searches the kitchen cupboards.
