Chapter 1
Jordan tells
Thanksgiving Eve
My name is Jordan. Today is Wednesday, the day when we are going to learn more about Thanksgiving. So, Thanksgiving is tomorrow. I’m excited about it because there will be a lot of different food to eat.
There will be roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, ham, green beans, corn, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie and apple pie. The TV programs are going to be very interesting too. There’s going to be the annual parade full of giant balloons, and a lot of cartoon characters will be walking in the procession too!
My aunt and my grandparents are here. Before I say Goodnight I want to tell you how I ended up here; sleeping between my two annoying sisters.
Granny, Grandpa, Aunt Maggie and I were sitting at the table eating breakfast, eggs, bacon and sausages. My mom was standing in the kitchen making more eggs and bacon for my sisters and dad.
My two sisters came down together; Olivia and Mia. Olivia is ten and Mia is twelve. They’re very close to each other;
