This book touches on her hopes and habits as well as exposes her secrets and scars.

Hello, Poetry lovers and Pixie Prince fans, Hopefully, you will find here all of the information that you need about me, the Author, TL Banks, and my work.  I like to think of myself as what would happen if girls could have babies with girls- My parents would be Dorothy Parker and Nikki Giovanni, for sure.  Just so that you are aware, without having asked permission or being legally affiliated in any way, purchasing any of my books also supports women's shelters in the Midwest and Southern Nevada that house displaced women and children that have been affected by domestic violence or sexual assault. Spending your reading dollars with me not only provides you with a little piece of my art but also helps others in need.  Reading and sharing are fundamental tasks to creating a more artistic environment for all!  I am a mother of one, essay and scholarship winner for poetry, a self-publisher, a blogger, an opinion columnist, and a halfway decent karaoke singer if there is whiskey involved! Thank you for supporting me! For more "Me" visit Desperatelydespicabledrivel.com

I would just like to say thank you. Thank you to all of the wonderful people whose company I have enjoyed over the years and who were willing to participate in the Passion Project Interviews which helped bring our private encounters and intimate experiences to life in the form of poetry, thoughtful prose and descriptive imagery.  I appreciate your honesty and affection during this process and your willingness to act on desire during the moments that we have shared. Each of you has inspired me to live fully and never be ashamed of who I am and what comes naturally. I find you all fascinating and charming and downright sexy in your own ways and I feel privileged to have been a part of your lives, your relationships, or your secrets ( even if, for a few, we have never officially said hello or goodbye).  In some form or fashion, Pixie Prince exists because of a memory you've held onto.  And she loves you dearly for that.

This book is dedicated to you.

    Act ONE: The Deed

I always felt sorry for the guys that I overheard saying that their girlfriends or wives were either frigid or poorly skilled in bed. No one should be forced to suffer. So I slept with them.

    ~ Pixie Prince

    Pixie's Perfect Night

At around 6:30 PM I get a call from Bingo.

(This is all in my imagination none of this ever happened)

He is telling me that he wishes that he was available because the carnival is in town and if he were allowed to, he would come get me and we would ride the rides and laugh at people and have an alright good time.

NO GIRL HAS THIS KIND OF LUCK.

I would say that I wish that he was available too.

    (This is me, In Love)

And then when I hang up he is at the door with the tickets in his hand and we get in his car and go to the carnival midway, arm in arm, eating elephant’s ears and drinking frozen lemonade and we ride the ferris wheel and its cold up there so he lets me wear his sweater and it smells like man and its so big on me and he kisses my neck until the ride is over.

( I day dream this fantasy all of the time)

He takes me home and tells me that he loves me and kisses me goodnight and I open my door to a candle lit room covered in the most cliche yet beautiful rose petals and Adonis is in my house and he has made a fire and shut off all the lights and oiled him self up and I can see him glistening in the flames.

NO GIRL HAS THIS KIND OF LUCK.

I am extremely excited and the talking is minimized after he says, I know this is what you want and takes me right there on the floor.

    (This is me, In Love)

When we are completely exhausted from lovemaking and totally out of breath he runs a bath for me, gets dressed and says that he can't wait to see me again and goes home without so much as a complaint or whisper and I dip my sore body into the warm tub and Splenda calls.

(This is all in my imagination none of this ever happened)

He tells me over the phone about how much he loves me, and how much he loved me in high-school and how beautiful I still am all of these years later and how glad that he is that he is still a part of my life and how much I mean to him and how he wishes that he could marry me and I am so full off the sweetness of the whole thing that my face turns a beet red which he can’t even see.

    (This is me, In Love)

He has the sexiest most romantic voice and he reads poetry to me while I am in the bath over the phone until I softly fall asleep. After a few minutes I rinse myself off and go lay on my bed and I hear familiar footsteps in the hall.

( I day dream this fantasy all of the time)

The shadow is that of Trevon glowing by the window. He has come to tuck me in. We don’t talk and he doesn’t undress he just removes my robe and gives me the most thrilling and powerful full body massage un-tensing and releasing every tight fiber of my being and I am limp in his hands. Saved even.

NO GIRL HAS THIS KIND OF LUCK.

The experience ends by Trevon kissing my other face and sucking my other lips until I tear the cases off my pillows for freedom from his hot wet mouth.

    (This is me, In Love)

He leaves quietly as he came and Bingo calls again. He tells me he wants to kiss me goodnight. So I let him know the door is unlocked and he comes up stairs and gets into bed and we lie there together in each others arms and I have the most wonderful sleep. (This is all in my imagination none of this ever happened)

    (This is me, In Love)

NO GIRL HAS THIS KIND OF LUCK.
