INTRODUCTION.

This is the follow up book to our original book AlterQuest – Shape the Future which was written in order to make you think about our world, humanity and the downward spiral we seem to be taking. That book pointed out some of the absolutely ridiculous methods we humans had used to shape our current civilization and why we simply had to change our ways as soon as possible or we would suffer terribly due to the scenarios which were inevitable if we didn’t make positive changes and stop letting others make so many wrong decisions for us. The first book contains a myriad of solutions (many more than I could fit into The Blueprint) and it’s an inspiration for anyone who reads it but I also felt that you might also need a simple, straightforward course on how to create your new ‘world’ and thus ‘The AlterQuest Blueprint’ was written.

CHAPTER ONE.

WHY DO WE NEED A BLUEPRINT FOR CHANGE?

You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. Buckminster Fuller.

It’s become apparent that the world has gone crazy. We, the human race, have totally lost our perspective about life and what we’re doing on this planet.

For a whole century it seemed that ‘the economy’ was way more important to our rulers and leaders than the wellbeing of their citizens. If people were left homeless, had no clean water, food or healthcare and found it impossible to get work, they didn’t care. Everything revolved around the welfare of corporations and the stock market, rather than whether 7 ½ billion people could live comfortably on the Earth.

At the same time our planet was being abused. It was being raped, looted and disrespected by mega corporations, and the rest of us (human beings) seemed powerless to stop them – even though this is the only home world we have – so why would we want to destroy it until it can no longer sustain us?

Are we crazy?

We’re now well into the 21st century and nothing has gotten better – in fact a lot of things are much worse.

How much longer do we, the people of the Earth, want to sit idly by and let the cards fall where they may?

Surely it’s time we stopped letting those, who don’t have our best interests at heart, continue to make all the decisions. If they were doing a such great job we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in right now. After all, if we had a job and we didn’t do it efficiently, we’d get fired. So now it’s time to fire those who are not doing what we need from them and then we can take over and do things right!

WHY DO YOU SPECIFICALLY NEED THIS BLUEPRINT?

There are many reasons why this blueprint should be in your possession at this time.

The main one is the volatility of our global situation. Every day there’s a fresh set of issues which threaten our existence - and we can either wait and see if these eventuate or we can be proactive, prepared and willing to change the parameters in advance, so these things don’t affect us.

The choice is yours!

Four imminent scenarios.

There are four major scenarios looming like storm clouds over our world. All of these are bad for us. Some are preventable if people take more control over their circumstances but some may be inevitable due to our actions (or inaction) up till now.

First there’s the constant threat of war, which is why governments continuously spend money on armaments, weapons, aircraft, war ships and in the army and navy – rather than using this money to help their citizens. Instead of focusing on peace, they’re always looking for the next conflict. You’d think by now they would have realized the absolute futility and horror of war but no, they just keep on inventing more reasons to create more havoc for everyone while they make bigger and ‘better’ weapons of destruction.

The second scenario is an economic crash. We’ve built our entire civilization around ‘the economy’ and that economy has been based round the stock markets which are incredibly unpredictable and volatile. If (or should we say ‘when’) the stock markets fail again many economists believe this time it will lead to one almighty financial crash, bigger than anything we’ve ever seen before – and since our whole civilization is based on money, if the economic system fails, we’re in big trouble (unless we have a backup plan already in place or ready to go). The system has failed before and the last time, in 2008, it was only because our governments bailed out the banks and the markets, that things didn’t get much worse. That should have been a wake-up call for all of us but instead, once the crisis died down, we just carried on as usual.

The third scenario is the planet’s ecosystems which have been damaged, almost beyond repair and the consequence of this has been global climate change, melting polar icecaps and major weather events which are unprecedented in their scale and severity. We’re now facing ever-increasing global earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, tornadoes, cyclones and other natural events which seem to be happening with more ferocity and much more frequently on our world right now.

If all of those reasons aren’t enough to make you want to keep a copy of this blueprint for rebuilding our world, the fourth and final reason we need this amazing plan of action in our hands right now is due to the fact that when some, or all, of the above scenarios actually happen (perhaps even simultaneously) and we do not have a plan, our lives will be in total chaos.
