About this ebook
Dave's time in the military was full of adventures, but the time that stands out the most to him has always been his training. He met interesting people, learned things he would have never been exposed to otherwise, and had experiences that he knows will stick with him for the rest of his life—including an unexpected relationship with the man responsible for training him.
Now, while visiting his sister and her wife, Dave has an opportunity to reminisce about the day when the relationship started, and share all the details of the first intimate encounter he had with the legendary Colonel Jacobs.

Dedicated to that time I took an edible, wasn’t feeling anything for about an hour and a half, took a second one, and was immediately hit with both of them. That was a fun night.
You know, I’m pretty surprised about this whole situation, private. You’ve had a fairly clean track record here up to this point—what happened out there?
I shrugged my shoulders and stared down at the floor, not saying much of anything. Colonel Jacobs picked up the sheet of paper from his desk behind him and squinted at it. I snuck a glance up at him as he read.
Colonel Jacobs was around sixty—maybe a few years away from that, but he looked the part. Salt-and-pepper graying hair, a broad chest, and he had a scar across his left eye from his time serving overseas. He wore an eyepatch over it, which I had always found kind of hot—not that I’d ever tell him, of course.
Says here that you attacked Daniel after he called you…
he squinted at the paper. Faggy?
I cringed at the sound of that last word—I had always hated hearing people say it, especially when it was about me.
Yes, sir,
I said quietly. Colonel Jacobs looked at me for a moment.
Well, are you?
he asked. I looked up at him.
Excuse me, sir?
I said, thinking I must have misheard him.
Are you a homosexual?
he repeated. I felt my face go hot and looked back down at the floor.
I’m bi, sir,
I muttered. Colonel Jacobs leaned forward on the edge of his desk.
What was that, private?
he asked. I winced at the question, but when I
