Preface
This book introduces basic concepts of French for new learners. Many learners who are interested in exploring a new language are unable to do so due to lack of time. This book focuses on introducing the basic grammar, conversation and comprehen- sion topics to the new learners. The book covers a wide range of skills including grammar, reading comprehension, writing practice, listening comprehension and conversation samples.
The main aim of this book is to ensure that new learners get ample practice in the language. The book includes practice exercises at the end of each chapter followed by the response to exercises. The conversation practice exercises cover dialogues from day to day interactions.
