‘Have you ever wondered what adventure smells like?’ I asked. I felt like a princess looking over her kingdom whenever I perched myself on the second story window of a hotel.

‘Unless it smells like you getting dressed, I don’t care,’ Tiffany answered.

‘I wonder if this is what it smells like. The dew mixed with dying leaves and fresh mud.’

    ’Tawny.

    Do you think they know?’

    ‘Who?’

‘The boys in the street; they seem so happy; I could—’ the pull of my hair jerked me back on to the floor, the force pushed my legs over my head. ‘Ow!’ Holding my new bold spot, I stared at my sister who was holding strands of my long red hair, staring back at me. Her face was angry, this, plus her short, red curly hair gave her the high school nickname of the red devil. ‘That hurt!’

‘Good! I didn’t let you come with us so you could flash children!’ I looked down, remembering I had no shirt on, then looked to the side. ‘Get dressed and stop pouting.’

‘I’m not pouting!’ I did what my sister asked and finished getting dressed. I put on my black cargo shorts and teemed it with a thin blue jacket over a pink tank top. Cute and practical.

As I sat on my bed to put my hiking shoes on, Fanny came out of the bathroom. Her morning shower routine took about an hour, I don’t get what takes her so long. She says that it’s her Fanny time, and she never rushes her Fanny time. Wearing nothing but a towel, she emerged with a relaxed face. ‘You need to get dressed Fanny,’ Tiffany announced.

‘Okay, okay. You seem stressed, you have another fight with Tawny?’ Fanny smirked.

    ‘It’s fine.’

‘Are you sure, she’s still pouting?’ I quickly checked my face; she laughed.

    ‘We’re going to be late.’

‘Fine.’ Fanny dropped her towel. She’s always been confident in her body, showing off her smooth skin, fit figure and dark brown wavy hair. She gets a lot of attention—not always good.

    ‘Honestly girl, have some class.’

‘It’s nothing you haven’t seen before.’

‘I’ve seen a puss filled wort before; doesn’t mean I want to see it again.’

‘Ouch, don’t be like that.’ Tiffany likes Fanny, despite thinking that most of what she does is idiotic. Fanny’s fun though, that’s what my sister seems to like. Fanny threw on her usual tight, revealing outfit. This time tight short shorts and a low-cut shirt—all red and white.

    ‘What do you think?’

‘We’re going on a hike not selling ourselves,’ Tiffany huffed.

‘Let me try a different opinion, what do you think Tawny?’ She twirled around as if she was trying to seduce me like all those other European guys.

    ‘Do you think
