Free-Motion Combinations - Christina Cameli
Introduction
As I have grown in my free-motion quilting, I have come to love combining different free-motion motifs into one piece. Designs like this are interesting to stitch and to behold. With so much detail to take in, they bring an additional layer of beauty to a finished quilt.
Working like this didn’t happen overnight for me. It was the eventual result of trying one new technique at a time, drawing, quilting, puzzling, and exploring, until gradually the individual skills crystallized for me, and I was able to combine designs more fluidly and spontaneously. This makes quilting a joyful experience for me. I treasure the creative flow, as well as seeing the design unfold itself over and over until my work is done. And now I’d like to help you find your way to this quilting wonderland. I’ve retraced my steps so that you can join me. You can do it
