While I enjoyed a few poems other felt less than great or just average. I do have mixed feelings because while I enjoyed a few poems when it ended I was expect to find more and was disappointed with the fact hat there weren't any more poms.

As a faithful reader to almost all the poetry she has ever done, I think this is one of her better ones

This is definitely a much shorter collection than her previous ones, and whilst they follow a very similar theme, I can't say that I don't enjoy them. I enjoy Amanda Lovelace's writings and the illustrations within this were really nice.

Great! I think there's a poem in here for almost everyone.

This short poetry collection by Amanda Lovelace focuses on relatable themes of today's social and feminist issues, especially the plight of women. For me it started off strong but then just gradually slipped into being like every other modern poetry collection I've read in the past twelve months. Which isn't a bad thing. But it did take the edge off my original enjoyment, dropped it from a five star read to a four star read. There were some lovely turns of phrase which conjured up inspiring images, but I felt that level of writing wasn't carried through the entire book.
