Journey to Paradise - Peter Odi

    ANIMAL EXPLOITATION

Even to supplement their diet, they cleared large areas of trees and bushes in order to plant grass and grow there specific mammals, which they forced them to make continuous reproduction, in most cases with technical method. And a few days or even a few hours after the birth, they would separate the babies from their mothers, so they could milk the mothers for the next ten months and exploit their milk.

The female animals of these species, when they reach the age of eighteen months, they would make them pregnant and in nine months when they had their first baby, they began milk production. In three months after the birth, they would make them pregnant again, and this practice was to continue for the next five or six years. After this period because the milk production was reducing, they were send these animals to slaughtering houses and they were starting the same process with fresh animals. And imagine that the natural life of these animals can reach twenty or so years.

As for the babies of these unfortunate mammals, in a few months, after they were fed with grass and gained some weight, they were slaughtered to feed the smart humans with their flesh. Ninety per cent were in a never ending sleep. As for the remaining five per cent, they were fully awake and they were trying to awaken the ninety per cent, but the four per cent kept trying to put obstacles in place for the five per cent so that they could not awaken the ninety per cent.

On one hand, it seemed that their society had a so called democracy, where in most countries everyone was eligible to vote, however, on the other hand, the four percent cooked the results in their favour.

And while everybody was expecting a better future, the situation only kept worsening. Life for the most part was made harder and harder, there were less jobs, the lengthy studies of the young were not enough to guarantee them a secure future, as for the dream to acquire their own house, this remained only a dream and for those who did have a house, they had to work much harder in order to make the banks (that belong of course to the four per cent), richer. And while the rich were eating with ten mouths, the poor were tightening their
