前言

自从中学起就喜爱古诗。不像现在，那时发现一首完整的唐诗开心的很。开始写的算不上诗， 带有年轻人的激情，少有诗的内涵。许多年后对流传下来的古诗才有些体会，开始仿古诗写作。可惜的是由于多次搬家，早期写的诗已不见了。前几年和潘可讨论了几首诗，受到他的鼓励。同时萌发了整理成集的想法。所找到的最早的诗是写于读博期间。大概在1989 到 1991 左右。截至到 2021 年初差不多三十多年，共整理出 30 首。

整理的目的是为了让孩子们能更好地了解他们父辈的生活，工作，喜乐和忧愁。了解传统文化之精髓。因此，此诗集只给家人，并不需要公开发行。

二零一九年至二零二零年先后整理于弗洛里达 坦帕 百慕大湖公寓以及北卡 夏洛特 家中。整理时新增加了英文翻译和背景说明，以便于理解。有些诗还增加了英文古典诗型。

The poems have been edited at Bermuda Lake apartment, Tampa, Florida and at home in Charlotte, North Carolina during 2019 to 2020. During the edition, in order to be easily understood, I added the English translation and background parts. For some poems I have English versions that are based on the classical sonnet style.

Note: My name was given by my grand father from my mom side based on a story about that a unicorn sends a newborn to the family, which is the meaning for the last character Lin (麟) of my name. On the other hand, due to my mom’s visiting her hometown, I were recognized as a guest that is about the second character of my name (客). My mom’s hometown is at xiao-li-zhang (小李庄，河北省 北戴河). I was born over there.

中秋月烨自独哀，盼雁传音跨海来。

暂住京城心在鲁, ¹ 常思故里祝英台。²

科学浩瀚寻奇趣，翰士林中储将才。

教诲谆谆终不忘，孤贫自励至鬓白。

注： 1. 鲁指山东省东营市老家。

2.梁山伯与祝英台是一个传说中的古代爱情故事。

English Translation

PHD CANDIDATE

(Mid-Autumn Festival, October 3, 1990)

(Beijing, China University of Mining, as a PhD candidate)

I feel lonely in the Mid-Autumn Festival. I’m looking forward to a bird to send a message for me in a day.

Though I live in Beijing my heart is still in Shandong*. I miss my hometown and my wife there.

The topics on science are very broad, which make me happy. The school has educated a lot of talent leaders.

I will remember the professor’s advice forever, and study hard for my whole life.

* note: my hometown Donying is located in the northeast of Shangdong province.
