You Can Draw It! - Trevor Cook
Introduction
This book will show you how to draw lots of different things. In fact, by the time you’ve learnt all the techniques, you’ll be able to draw anything!
You’ll see that even the most complicated-looking picture can be recreated by following these simple, step-by-step instructions!
1. First choose a photograph of the subject you want to draw.
2. Begin by drawing basic outline shapes.
3. Add in a bit more detail. At this stage your subject should start to become recognisable.
4. Add in more details until you’ve completed your line drawing.
5. Colour in your drawing to match the photograph, or pick your own colours.

Sometimes we need lines to be very straight and neat. Using a ruler will help with this.
Compasses draw the best circles.
Inking and Colouring
The drawings in this book have been finished with an ink line. You can apply ink with a special felt tip, dipping pen or even a fine brush. The ink must be
