Prologue
Planet~Zaiclaff
Approximate Date~July 1947
Place~Royal Castle of Daleid
Nitrane locked the door to the astronomy lab as he breathed a sigh of stress. The meeting took place in a few minutes and the information he received had unsettled him.
It can’t be, it can’t be. They can’t know about us, not yet.
Nitrane had just gotten into the academy, and the thought of him studying this problem sent his nerves through the roof.
Nitrane, base floor, now.
His spaceship commander came into the lab as his face said it all. Fear, nothing but fear in his eyes. As Nitrane made his way down, everyone he saw had the same look of fear in their eyes. Getting to the base floor, he pushed through the crowd to get to the middle. All Commanders and Chiefs stood present.
Fellow workers in the Royal castle of Daleid aeronautics. Today, we have encountered a problem. A huge problem. The planet we have been studying for a few years, Earth, might know of our existence.
Everyone in the room gasped as Nitrane shook his head.
How, how could this be?
He asked himself.
"We’ve been studying the Milky Way galaxy for a couple decades now. However, the once primitive race we call humans, aren’t so primitive as we thought. Two years ago, one side dropped bombs on their enemies. That started our interests, just to see if they could be a possible threat."
Those imbecile human beings could never be a threat to any planet in the flexbone galaxy. Not even to us Zaiclaffians.
One soldier yelled from the crowd.
We all have our opinions about those vermin humans, however let me get into the important parts of why we’re here right now. Ever since they dropped those bombs, we have studied them a little more closely. However, one of our ships got too close to earth’s gravitational pull. They’ve crashed, the last location on their craft said Roswell, New Mexico.
So why not invade them?
One asked a Chief.
Listen, to get out of this galaxy you have to go through the Rixen wormhole. The most dangerous one in this universe. Only three out of the eight that started were alive after they passed through. I’m not letting any more die before we get more information. Thank you, return back to your studies.
Nitrane immediately got out of there and went to the only person he could find comfort in. His brother.
Getting to the top of the castle, he knocked on the jeweled door. His brother was always the flashy one. Nitrane was greeted by a woman who wore nothing but a thick string around her neck.
King, your brother is here.
Nitrane walked in to greet his brother. Unimpressed by the naked woman and jewels everywhere.
I’m not the King yet my dear. I’m still under twenty seasons young. Thanks for the future compliment though.
He got up and smiled at Nitrane.
Alas, my younger brother has finally visited me. The youngest ever at eighteen seasons young, to be accepted into the academy.
"Thank you, Driel. Have you not heard
