About this ebook

The cousins are headed to the sandy beaches off the Gulf Coast for their yearly family vacation.  The four older boys, Hudson, Jackson, Colt, and Griffin join Addie on a large float in the ocean having fun in the sun and surf.  They are unaware, however, that the riptide is carrying them further out to sea.  Far from the beach the cousins find themselves surrounded by several large ocean predators.  Their hopes are sinking fast.

    CHAPTER ONE

See you at the beach! Lala waved as the boys buckled up in the back of their dad’s pickup truck. Hudson and Griffin smiled back at their grandma Lala waving goodbye.

See ya at the beach! they replied in unison. The boys’ dad—Uncle Joe Joe as the cousins all called him—accelerated on the rock road, shooting out a few rocks and dust from under the truck’s tires. With plenty of good books, games, writing pads, coloring markers, and a video screen in the back seat, Hudson and Griffin were ready for the long ride across north Texas, through Louisiana, across the Mississippi River, and southward through Alabama to the sandy shores where all the cousins would spend the best week of their lives.
