Harold the Hawk at the Beach: Harold the Hawk Cousins Adventure Series
()
About this ebook
The cousins are headed to the sandy beaches off the Gulf Coast for their yearly family vacation. The four older boys, Hudson, Jackson, Colt, and Griffin join Addie on a large float in the ocean having fun in the sun and surf. They are unaware, however, that the riptide is carrying them further out to sea. Far from the beach the cousins find themselves surrounded by several large ocean predators. Their hopes are sinking fast.

See you at the beach!
Lala waved as the boys buckled up in the back of their dad’s pickup truck. Hudson and Griffin smiled back at their grandma Lala waving goodbye.
See ya at the beach!
they replied in unison. The boys’ dad—Uncle Joe Joe as the cousins all called him—accelerated on the rock road, shooting out a few rocks and dust from under the truck’s tires. Seated in the roomy back seat inside the cab, Hudson and Griffin double-checked their seatbelts and fixed their imagination on the highway ahead, which in ten hours would take them to the sunny beaches of the Alabama coast. Aunt Gigi, riding shotgun, began singing On the Road Again,
as the boys, with smiles as wide as cantaloupe slices, joined in belting out the traditional family vacation song. With plenty of good books, games, writing pads, coloring markers, and a video screen in the back seat, Hudson and Griffin were ready for the long ride across north Texas, through Louisiana, across the Mississippi River, and southward through Alabama to the sandy shores where all the cousins would spend the best week of their lives.
Not far away from Griffin and Hudson’s house, Colt and Jude played with their monster trucks in the back seat of their dad’s Pilot. Their sister Lyla, strapped securely in the car seat next to her two brothers, screamed at the top of her lungs.
How much farther?
groaned Colt, covering his ears from the piercing crying noise.
About nine and a half more hours, bubba,
