Dr. Waqar Pirzada

Waqar Pirzada was born in 1959 in the city of Rawalpindi, Pakistan. I migrated to the USA and am now permanently residing in the United States. I, the author, am a doctor of medicine, have an MBA and a PhD, and belong to a family of doctors, and my father and grandfather are both doctors from the same prestigious medical institution. The search for truth has led me to explore different horizons and quest for what true love is about. I found, there is a loving and living deity above us who listens to and responds, just like we communicate among ourselves, in our daily lives, through existing technology. A sinful man as I have been, I now know that Allah is most forgiving and oft returning. Practicing medicine has taught me about how there is only a thin line between life and death. I have the honor of being the grandson of my maternal and paternal grandfathers, who personally met and accepted the Promised Messiah—the messiah of the time as prophesized, who people are still waiting for. The author of this book has also published the books The Land of Wakapuku—Land of the True and Chasing Love Up against the Sun.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmed (peace and blessings) was born in the small village of Qadian in India in 1835, the Promised Messiah who has been awaited for so long and is still to come as believed by the followers of all major religions. The Promised Messiah was to appear in the latter days to reform mankind and the false beliefs that had corrupted the religions practiced by people of this age. According to revelations and the will of God, the Master of all the universes, the Promised Messiah was given a huge task to bring light in the hearts of people who had deviated from the true message of God and who believed in false gods.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmed (peace and blessings), through his writings and revelations from God, laid the foundations of a Jama’at (community) who would practice the true teachings of Islam and the Qura’n. A prophecy revealed to the Promised Messiah (peace and blessings) in 1898 goes, I shall cause thy message to reach the corners of the Earth. The Ahmadiyya Jama’at has been established in more than 200 countries of the world and is spreading the true meaning of Islam: PEACE, Love for All, and Hatred for None.

Foreword

We believe that there is an Omnipotent, Self-sustaining God, who is the Creator of all things, and whose attributes are eternal, everlasting, and unchangeable. He has no father and no son. He is above suffering, being crucified and killed. He is such that despite being far, He is near; and despite being near, He is far. Despite being One, His manifestations are diverse. For a person who brings about a change in himself, He becomes a new god for him and deals with him by means of a new manifestation.

The earth has been corrupted, and people have lost faith in the Creator of the heavens and the earth. They pay lip service to Him, but their hearts are estranged from Him. That is why God has declared that now He will create a new heaven and a new earth. This means that the earth has perished; that is, the hearts of the people of earth have so hardened as if they are dead. The face of God has become hidden from them, and heavenly signs of the past were all reduced to myth and legend. Thus, God has decreed to create a new heaven and a new earth.
