This is a fun story about a young unicorn from the far away land of Unilopilus. The name of the unicorn is Argyle, he was a misfit in his village. He looked different from all the others. One day out of embarrassment, he went on an adventure and met a wonderful Dinosaur named Chrysanthemum. They both went on an adventure together, and in this journey Argyle learned a lot about feelings and emotions. He learned that regardless of their shape, size or color everyone has feelings.

ARGYLE’S SEARCH

Far, far away in the land of Unilopilus, there lives a unicorn named Argyle. Argyle is very unusual he has three bright purple stripes and two polka dots. There are a lot of unicorns that live in his village, some are young, some are old, some are black, some are white, but none of them have stripes and polka dots. Sometimes the other unicorns make fun of Argyle because he is different.

One day he heard them say…Did you notice Argyle doesn’t look like he belongs in our forest? asked one.

Yes, said another. He looks ridiculous. The rest of the unicorns agreed and went about playing their game.

Argyle hung his head and walked down the path out of his village. I have to find something to make them like me, he said.

Looking here
