About this ebook

Healing is meant to proclaim that Jesus is not only our Savior but also our keeper. He restores us and makes us whole whenever we have difficult situations take place in our lives.

God’s Healing Environment declares that Jesus is our strength in our most difficult conditions. Through exploration of scripture and relatable consideration of struggles we all face, it lets us know that Jesus is our foundation when we are seeking physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual healing. Isaiah 53:5 reminds us that Jesus was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. Author Edward Harris Sr. prays that this guide will serve as an instrument to help people to trust in God’s faithfulness while going through life’s hardships.

Uplifting and encouraging, this biblical study offers help and hope for Christians finding themselves in dark places, struggling with difficulties and challenges.

    In the Healing Environment

When I think about everything I have been through in my personal life, I have to thank God for reminding me that I was a man on a mission. Through all my challenges and difficulties, God helped me to move into a place of healing, which was found only in Him. I used to hear other Christians call Him a deliverer, a healer, and a restorer, but it wasn’t until my mother went home to be with the Lord that I realized for myself that God is able to heal all pain and heartache. The hurt that was in my heart after losing my mother was so painful. In my most challenging time, I found my healing environment in God’s Word. His Word provided me a place where I could go and not be judged as a man, as a pastor, or as a Christian. The Bible teaches us that God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world in John 3:17 (NKJV). We must never forget that the world, through Jesus Christ, was saved by God’s grace. The person who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is condemned already. I learned in this healing environment that even when I felt depressed, and many times I did, in Christ I was
