About this ebook

Alethiology is the study of truth. In approaching this study, author Ashish Bam examines truth itself and seeks to explain the nature of truth.

The Alethiology studies actual reality and the substance from which everything that is in existence is made. The text considers the point of origin from which everything emerged, offering thorough explanations and irrefutable proofs. It explores questions about the existence of the universe, life, and God, providing detailed answers. It does not start from what exists but from what could be in existence, relying not on physical observation but on logical possibility. What is seen is made up of what is unseen—that is, all external visible realities come from internal invisible realities. Because everything in existence began from a single point, everything is bound to one eternal truth—the source of all truth and the subject of study here.

This philosophical study presents an initial exploration of the existential truth of our reality and seeks to address questions about the nature of truth and existence.

    INTRODUCTION

    What is Truth?

This book is an answer to this question and it took three years to conclude it.

This book is centered on the existential Truth of our reality and shows how the existence of something is possible or how existence became possible. Actually, Truth is what it is and what it is is what exists therefore in this book existence itself is studied to understand the Truth. This book starts with what it takes for something to be in existence and gives a detailed knowledge of the state of existence even before the universe is formed. This book gives a complete knowledge about the substance of existence by which everything is formed.

The reasoning in this study is of simple structure but is delicate and often times very delicate, therefore the reader should be patient, calm, and thoughtful throughout this study.

Sometimes it is hard to see (understand) anything without disciplining mind and heart to focus on the insight of the content.

This book is not elaborate in the presentation of its contents because the main aim of this book is to insert the first ideas of this study into the world. And the main purpose of this book is to draw the first line and establish the foundation of these studies.

The conclusion of this book is complete and stable however there are still more works to be done to make it easier to understand and make its scope broader.

This book is also an introductory book of Alethiology and it demonstrates the Methodology of the study of Alethiology. However this book is yet pre-mature and not fully developed thus only a basic concepts of study of Alethiology is demonstrated here and it will come more mature and developed in future.

    A. Etymology of Alethiology.

Alethiology consist of a Greek word; "Aletheia" (Truth) and the English suffix Logy (study), thus giving the meaning Study of Truth. Alethiology is the study of Truth which is based on the laws of Reality and Truth.

    B. Truth of Everything

The Title Truth of everything should not be confused with the understanding that this is All Truths. Truth of Everything must be understood with the concept that everything that exists has a Truth or everything that are in existence must have a truth to which it is bound and this study shows the Truth to which everything are bound.

In fact, everything that exists in this universe are bound to one Truth, that is to say, truth of everything is one and this book is the study of that one Truth.

    C. Introduction to Alethiology

Alethiology is a distinct and independent discipline of study of Truth. In another word, Alethiology is the Science of Truth. The study of Alethiology is based upon the universal logical facts and reasoning and is not necessarily dependent on any particular physical matter or observation. The study of Alethiology does not start from the facts that are in existence but it is the study of the possibilities of fact that could be in existence. Therefore Alethiology does not stand -primarily- upon any facts derived from what exists but it stands upon the possibilities from which facts themselves are derived.

Alethiology is the study of Truth. And Truth is [what it is] therefore this study is effective in all the domains of existence - [what is] is [what exists]-. Alethiology follows the Truth and Truth is [what it is] therefore anything [That is] comes under the sight of Alethiology either visible or invisible. Truth is triune and has three dimensions: What, Why and How. Something could only exists if it is Truth and something could be Truth only if its What Why and How are one and are agreed. Thus, Truth of something is whole only when all three dimensions of Truth are agreed. Therefore, Alethiology studies the Truth of something with respect to its three dimensions and concludes it with the agreement of all three.

    D. Fundamental Laws of Alethiology

This study is primarily based upon the following Laws which are the pillars of Alethiology. Thus to cause Alethiology to fall is to cause the following laws to fail.

    I. Law of Singularity

This Law states that there cannot be two different substances (realities or particles) at the same time and space.

For example, A and B cannot be true at the same time and space.

Another variation of this law states that one Substance (Substance = anything that acts) cannot perform two different acts at the same time and space and be true.

For example: A and B cannot be spoken at the same time and space and be true.

    II. Law of Consistency

This Law states that the truth of something in a certain condition (Frame of Truth) is same as the truth of another in the same condition (Frame of Truth). That is to say, truth of a two different realities at the same condition is one.

For example, if 2+2 is 4 then 4+4 must be 8.

    III. Law of Reality

This Law states that for something to be real it must act to produce an effect.

That is to say, for something to be real it must act and for act to be real it must produce an Effect. Therefore something is real only when it acts and the act is real only when it produces an effect. Here, act is to cause change -or simply act is change- and effect is the realization of change. Thus an act is said to be done if there is change and a change is said to happen if a difference is realized.

Thus anything that cannot cause any change in the state of something is not real.

    IV. Law of Substantiation

This Law states that what exists is what has existed and what has existed is what will exist. That is to say, [what it is] is [what it was] and [what it was] is [what it will be]. This is the Law of substantiation. Thus, what exists will never exit and what never existed will ever exist.

    Some of the variations of this law are as follows;

Variation one: Something is possible only when it is possible and what is possible is always possible. Thus, what is possible was never impossible and what is impossible was never possible. Thus, what is possible is what was possible and what was possible is what will be always possible.

Variation two: For something to act, an act must have been acted on it and the act that is acted on it, is the same act that will be acted by it.

    UNIT 1

    PRE-CREATION

    CHAPTER 1

    LAWS OF EXISTENCE

    1.1. FIRST LAW OF EXISTENCE

In our reality there are many things in existence. There’s an entire universe with galaxies, stars, planets, and our earth with innumerous varieties of materials and life in it. All of them have their own properties and truth of their existence. The first truth of something is its existential truth, that is, the truth about how it came to be in existence.

For something to be it must have a substance which makes it real and which is the domain (being) of its existence. Substance is anything which distinguishes an existence from nothing and makes something. Thus, for something to exist and be real it must have a substance with which it is built. Thus, existence begins with the substance from which something is made.

From the Law of substantiation, if something exist then it must have always existed. Thus, what exist is eternal and it must not have any beginning (of existence) or end -anything that has no beginning has no end-.

However, in our reality we see that everything is transient and has beginning and end. Everything that we see around are made from something that are changeable. Here it must be understood that, what changes is not the substance of existence but the form of existence. Actual substance remains as it is and it does not change, it is eternal. But it must be understood that, change is quantitative and not qualitative and all the differences in the apparent qualities -transient quality of transient material- of different materials that exist in our reality are the result of quantity of actual substance.

For example, from natural science we know that water is made up of hydrogen and oxygen and hydrogen and oxygen themselves are made up of atoms and atoms are made up of proton, neutron and electron which are further made up of elementary particles and this succession of form of existence will continue until a substance beyond which there is no form of existence anymore and beyond which there is no change.

Here the form of existence changes quantitatively from the first substance to elementary particles to compounds but the first substance of existence remains the same.

When elementary particle unites or interacts to form atoms their substance does not cease to exist but their substance is preserved in the existence of atoms and the existence of atoms is built upon the substances of elementary particles. Similarly, when Hydrogen and Oxygen are united to form Water, substance of Hydrogen and Oxygen are preserved in Water and Water is built upon the substances of Hydrogen and Oxygen.

Here, the existence of Water begins with the union of Hydrogen and Oxygen and before Water came into existence it existed in (or as) Hydrogen and Oxygen and when they unite to form Water the form of their existence changes to Water but the substances (Hydrogen and Oxygen) remained preserved in Water.

Following analogy will try to explain the model of existence. It should be understood that in Alethiological study (in the context of this book) physical materials or realities like Water, Hydrogen and Oxygen are not necessarily described in the way natural science describes them. The detail study on these materials will be done in post-creation part of this study. However, following analogy is taken to give a plain and simple concept of model of existence.

We know from natural science that Water is made from two Hydrogen and one oxygen atoms. Here for simplicity only substances Hydrogen and Oxygen is taken and their quantity is omitted. It could be said that Water is formed from the union of Hydrogen and Oxygen. When Water is formed, Water becomes the being of existence or reality. When it is said Water, the property or nature which is exclusive to Water is considered Water.

Since Water is formed from Hydrogen and Oxygen, its existence begin only after the union of Hydrogen and Oxygen and before Water is formed its substance exists as Hydrogen and Oxygen.

When Hydrogen and Oxygen exists freely as Hydrogen and Oxygen, Hydrogen and Oxygen are the beings of existence respectively.

When it is said Hydrogen and Oxygen, the properties exclusive to Hydrogen and Oxygen are considered Hydrogen and Oxygen respectively.

Thus when Water is formed, the being of the existence of Hydrogen and Oxygen changes to Water.

Now, Hydrogen is Hydrogen and Oxygen is Oxygen therefore where Hydrogen is there is no Oxygen and where Oxygen is there is no Hydrogen and where Water is there is neither Hydrogen nor Oxygen -but both-. That is to say, Hydrogen and Oxygen are distinct substances therefore Oxygen is not what Hydrogen is and vice-versa but Water is what both are. Water is formed from the union of Hydrogen and Oxygen therefore in Water there are both hydrogen and Oxygen but Water is neither Hydrogen nor Oxygen. Full integrity of Hydrogen and Oxygen must be preserved in Water because the existence of Water stands upon them. Thus, Water is apart from Hydrogen and Oxygen and yet it is both. Now, when Water is neither Hydrogen nor Oxygen then what is Water? That is to say, Water is said to be made from Hydrogen and Oxygen, and yet is neither of them, then what forms the Water?

Water is formed from Hydrogen and Oxygen and there is no third substance involve here, therefore, whatever forms Water is in Hydrogen and Oxygen. Thus, the substance of Water is in Hydrogen and Oxygen, which means that Water existed in them before it comes into existence.

Here we need to understand how Hydrogen, Oxygen or Water are formed and the model of their existence.

For a change, there must be three distinct (separate) substances where two distinct substances are bound by a third substance which is one with both substances. It could also be understood in this way, for change there must be two distinct states which are before and after change thus there must be two distinct substances which produces these two distinct states and there must be a third substance which binds these two states. The substance which binds the two distinct substances is the Substance proper and is the being or person of that substance and the two distinct substances are the substances that causes the change in the form of existence of that substance. This is the fundamental condition or model of changeable existence without which there cannot be any change in the existence of something or without which changeable reality cannot exist. [Further study in Chapter 2]

In case of Water, Hydrogen and Oxygen are the two distinct substances which causes change in the existence of Water and Water is the substance which binds Hydrogen and Oxygen and is the Substance proper of the reality of Water or being of Water.

Before Water came into existence it was in Hydrogen and Oxygen, and when it existed in Hydrogen and Oxygen it existed as Hydrogen and Oxygen.

It must be understood that, Hydrogen and Oxygen both are distinct and changeable substances. Thus, both Hydrogen and Oxygen must be made up of three substances where two distinct substances are bound to a third substance.

When Hydrogen and Oxygen are bound together then both must have a common substance in them which binds them as one. Let’s say the common substances in Hydrogen and Oxygen be H1 and O1 respectively. Again, Hydrogen and Oxygen are distinct from each other therefore they must also have another substance in them which makes them distinct from a another. Let say the distinct substances in Hydrogen and Oxygen be H2 and O2 respectively. Thus, both substances have two distinct substances in them in which one is common to each other and other is distinct. Now, when there are two distinct substances then there must be a third substance which binds these two substances i.e. H1 and H2 and O1 and O2. Let the third substance which binds H1 and H2 and O1 and O2 be H and O respectively. Here, H and O are the Substance proper or being of Hydrogen and Oxygen.

Now, when Hydrogen and Oxygen are united -or singularized (in terms of Alethiology)- the Substance proper of Hydrogen and Oxygen i.e. H and O singularizes (unites) to become the
