EXT—CITY STREETS—NIGHT

The city streets are empty. NAZAR, 30 yrs old, and his group of SOLDIERS move stealth-like throughout the location. NAZAR motions for one of his soldiers to surround the back of the home they plan to invade next.

NAZAR quietly moves his way to the front of the home and meticulously removes the light bulb from its fixture.

The SOLDIERS climbs up the house and begins to cut out an opening from the window in order to gain access. He gains entry first through the bedroom but it is empty and unoccupied.

The SOLDIER in the back of the house notices a HUSBAND, 27 yrs old and WIFE, 27 years old speaking to each other in the den from the other side. The couple cuddles while watching a movie on their entertainment system.

The SOLDIERS in the back breaks the back door open startling the young couple. The HUSBAND grabs his WIFE’S hand and heads towards the front door. The HUSBAND opens the door and NAZAR is seen.

INT—RANJIT’S HOME—NIGHT

RANJIT, 30 yrs old, watches his two sons HONDO, 6yrs old and ARNOST 8yrs old practicing their martial arts. RANJIT walks into the home and heads towards the room to set his sword on the wall.

RANJIT begins to undress in the bedroom when he overhears someone knocking on the front door yelling out for help.

HUSBAND

Help! Help!

RANJIT puts back on his training attire and opens it. The HUSBAND stands there with a piece of paper in his hand. His wife, although unharmed, stands behind him in a cold sweat.

RANJIT senses the seriousness of the ordeal after searching their eyes for answers. RANJIT sighs and motions them to come in.

INT—RANJIT’S HOME—NIGHT

The couple sits there on the couch. RANJIT, HONDO and ARNOST walks back into the living room. ARNOST hands the WIFE a sheet of sackcloth. The WIFE shows appreciation for the gesture. The HUSBAND begins to explain the incident that has just taken place at his home.

HUSBAND

"Ranjit thank you very much for

Allowing my wife to come in."

RANJIT

The pleasure is all mine.

HUSBAND

((frantically))

I didn’t mean to disturb you at this time of night but I am afraid that this Couldn’t wait any longer.

RANJIT sighs.

RANJIT

What happened?

HUSBAND

I’m afraid that we were raided while at home and I am sure that this is not the first time that this particular group has done this.

The HUSBAND places a map left by NAZAR on the table.

HUSBAND

This shows proof that I am correct. I know that there are more of them, more than what we can imagine.

RANJIT picks up the map and begin to analyze the information placed on it. RANJIT notices three bases that NAZAR has highlighted. The HUSBAND continues explaining the incident.

HUSBAND

"I recalled everyone calling the leader NAZAR. He warned us that they are In the midst of taking over the city! Unfortunately in the situation I was in I couldn’t defend myself. I am afraid that they are not done leaving their mark either. I had to find you.

That scum of the earth was not done trying to invade us."

RANJIT begins to pace back and forth after hearing the news.

The WIFE looks at RANJIT waiting patiently for a response from him. RANJIT looks at HONDO and ARNOST.

RANJIT

Okay boys, we got something to take care of.

The HUSBAND stands up and shakes RANJIT’S hand. The WIFE sighs with relief. Both ARNOST and HONDO nod in agreement and head towards the hallway to get ready.

EXT—SECRET BASE—NIGHT

The wind blows dead tree leaves throughout the forest.

Distant war cries are heard of men training from afar.

Sparks fly from the impact of the war shields.

RANJIT, and the REBEL ASSASSIN SOLDIERS barks orders to his troops as they prepare to strike the base of NAZAR, the oppositions General.

RANJIT

That’s it men, gather together.

He paces back and forth while his troops listens to his briefing before they strike.

RANJIT

As you know, Nazar and his army has invaded Parkshure. They have already establish Hierarchy and are steadily making their presence felt from the east end. It is up to us to nullify any attacks and restore the city back to its order.

The group of ASSASSIN SOLDIERS remains at attention. ARNOST trains with his younger brother HONDO in the background as RANJIT continues his speech.

RANJIT

We strike at 2100. Now there are risks going through with this mission that even I don’t want to take. Stick with the group and we may defeat Nazar’s army.

RANJIT picks his weapon up and loads it. He motions ARNOST to follow next to him as the ASSASSINS make their way out of the woods towards the military base.

They go through the shrubbery just before they cross through NAZAR’S bunker. RANJIT stops them.

He motions the ASSASSINS to take cover as he picks up a bug from the ground and throws it just before the entrance.

The bug sets off an alarm that urges the first wave of troops to their feet. The rebel ASSASSIN SOLDIERS make quick work of the other SOLDIERS.

RANJIT leads the troops into the main base of NAZAR. He motions ARNOST and HONDO into the base first as a distraction.

RANJIT

((Whispers))

Go easy on them.

ARNOST and HONDO nod with excitement. They barge through the door.

HONDO AND ARNOST

Trick or Treat!

The guards rush the two boys but they make quick work of the SOLDIERS. HONDO takes the key card from the fallen SOLDIER as ARNOST calls in RANJIT and the team of ASSASSIN SOLDIERS.

ARNOST

((disappointed))

It was only two …

RANJIT

Show-off!

HONDO slides the key card and the sliding door opens. Dozens of SOLDIERS are at their spot. The REBEL ASSASIN’S rushes inside and perform martial arts on the opposition.

One ASSASSIN SOLDIER throws a sword. It pierces the stomach of NAZAR’S SOLDIER.

A grenade is thrown sending the armed SOLDIERS flying for cover. A SOLDIER catches a grenade and throws it back. HONDO jumps in the air and kicks the grenade straight to the SOLDIER. It explodes in the SOLDIER’S face.

RANJIT rushes a group of SOLDIERS and quickly defeats all of them.

The ASSASSIN SOLDIERS clear the rest of the SOLDIERS. HONDO, ARNOST and RANJIT head straight to the elevator door. It closes just before some of the unarmed SOLDIERS can stop them.

The elevator door opens and they slowly make their way through the plush hallway.

One of the ASSASSIN SOLDIERS radios RANJIT about the status of the bottom floor.

ASSASSIN 1

There are no signs of NAZAR.

RANJIT

Shit!

RANJIT radios the ASSASSIN SOLDIER guarding the entryway.

RANJIT

Any activity by the entryway?

ASSASSIN 2

No sign.

The ASSASSIN SOLDIERS are attacked while delivering his message. RANJIT’S eyes widen as he overhears the attack over the radio static.

Just as RANJIT tries to stop the elevator the doors open. NAZAR strikes him to the ground. NAZAR’S SOLDIERS detain him and points guns at ARNOST and HONDO blocking them in the elevator door.

ARNOST

Dad!

HONDO quivers at the sight of the gun pointed to his face.

NAZAR

Bring them here!

NAZAR laughs at RANJIT while he stares him down. RANJIT now detained clinches his teeth in anger.

NAZAR

What makes you think you can come here?

NAZAR slaps RANJIT in the face. RANJIT spits on the ground. He clinches his teeth.

RANJIT

You are going to pay for that.

NAZAR begins to chuckle. The rest of the SOLDIERS chuckle as well.

NAZAR

Did you think you and your little brigade can just up and run the city?

RANJIT looks at NAZAR. Just before he answers the ASSASSIN SOLDIERS breaks through a window causing a distraction. RANJIT takes cover as NAZAR’S SOLDIERS begin to shoot from all directions.

The ASSASIN SOLDIERS throw star knives at NAZAR’S SOLDIERS nullifying the array of bullets. During the distraction, RANJIT escapes the grips of the soldiers who contained him. NAZAR manages to escape through the window. HONDO and ARNOST follow after him.

The security alarm sounds prompting RANJIT, ARNOST, HONDO and the rest of the ASSASIN SOLDIERS to flee the area.

RANJIT, HONDO, and ARNOST run side by side. RANJIT radios one of the ASSASIN’S.

RANJIT

Set the explosives on The side of the building!

He successfully sets the bomb and flees the area as well.

ASSASIN

Everything is a go!

RANJIT pulls out the detonator and presses the button, which sets off the explosion. RANJIT, HONDO and ARNOST are sent flying towards the shrubs.

RANJIT, HONDO, and ARNOST are seen on the forest ground. ARNOST stares at the explosions embers burning the building down.

The city streets are filled with citizens who all witness the destruction of NAZAR and his SOLDIERS base. NAZAR is furious at the outcome of the encounter by RANJIT and his group of ASSASIN SOLDIERS. They flee from enforcements as distant sirens are heard.

NAZAR

This marks the day we will all seek revenge!

EXT—RANJIT’S TRAINING AREA—WOODS—DAY

It has been years since the encounter with NAZAR and his team of SOLDIERS. Since then RANJIT and company has been publically recognized throughout the city. RANJIT has been recognized by the cities POLITICIANS of his heroic acts.

YOUNG ARNOST shrieks at the sight of RANJIT’S final strike breaking the wooden planks. RANJIT stops his sword strike just before it touches ARNOST’S forehead.

RANJIT

((Frustrated))

Get up!

RANJIT, drops his sword and pushes YOUNG ARNOST to the ground sending him stumbling. YOUNG HONDO sits Indian style under a tree.

YOUNG ARNOST

Aah!

YOUNG ARNOST gets up and charges RANJIT. He connects with a right hook to the face. His brother YOUNG HONDO cheers in the background. RANJIT shakes off the punch and smiles.

RANJIT

You little monkey; you got me!

YOUNG ARNOST temporarily lets his guard down and cracks a smile. RANJIT sees this and punches YOUNG ARNOST in the stomach sending him to the ground.

YOUNG HONDO groans in the background for him. He takes a bite of his banana.

RANJIT shakes his head. He calmly walks towards YOUNG HONDO to sit next to him by the tree. They both snicker as RANJIT takes a bite of YOUNG HONDO’S banana.

YOUNG HONDO

Never leave your guard down!

Both RANJIT and YOUNG HONDO begin to imitate monkeys to tease YOUNG ARNOST. He looks at them in disgust.

YOUNG ARNOST

That’s not fair dad. You’re too hard on me!

RANJIT

I didn’t complain when you socked me. You know what to do.

YOUNG ARNOST makes his way to YOUNG HONDO to take a seat next to the tree opposite from RANJIT.

RANJIT

You are improving! Try not to worry about it too much. At this rate you both will be tossing me around in the next couple of years.

The boys smile. RANJIT motions both boys to start the next drill.

RANJIT

Okay, you know what time it is!

YOUNG HONDO eats the rest of his banana and YOUNG ARNOST stands up to drill. YOUNG HONDO cheerfully follows behind him. They both stand straight awaiting RANJIT’S command to begin. RANJIT gets serious and starts to speak to his sons.

RANJIT

Close your eyes …

Both YOUNG HONDO and YOUNG ARNOST close their eyes.

RANJIT

Listen to my voice and visualize my attacks.

YOUNG ARNOST takes a deep breath. YOUNG HONDO squeezes his eyes shut in a panic.

RANJIT

Only defense this time.

RANJIT stands up slowly and starts to yell out attacks as both boys perform them in unison.

RANJIT

"Right Hook! Mid Punch! Left Kick!

Mid Punch! Spinning heal kick! Spinning heal kick! Mid Punch! Left Hook!"

They both perform the attacks with precision.

After the flurry of attacks, YOUNG HONDO, somewhat loses his footing. He opens his eyes to catch himself. When he picks up his head he sees RANJIT staring at him within a foot from his face. He jumps back in shock but RANJIT catches him.

RANJIT

Calm down, you are doing fine.

YOUNG HONDO is out of breath. RANJIT motions YOUNG HONDO to take deep breaths. YOUNG HONDO starts to follow RANJIT’S breathing patterns.

YOUNG ARNOST closes his eyes again as he awaits the next array of attacks. RANJIT backs up and begins to speak again.

RANJIT

Ready … Spinning heal kick! Low Sweeping Kick! Right Hook! Left Jab! Left Jab! Left Jab! Right Uppercut!

YOUNG HONDO and YOUNG ARNOST are back to their fighting stances with their eyes still closed. RANJIT begins to smile but quickly focuses his attention behind him; he hears a noise.

RANJIT tries to pick up what made the noise. Overtime he ultimately refocuses his attention back to the boys.

RANJIT

All right guys good job. Let’s get out of here for today.

YOUNG ARNOST and YOUNG HONDO open their eyes in relief. They both head towards the tree to get their training bags.

RANJIT leads the way down through the woods to their home.

INT—RANJIT’S HOME—AFTERNOON

RANJIT sits Indian style next to a fireplace with his eyes closed. While meditating he receives visions of him fending off SOLDIERS attempting find NAZAR while in their hideout.

NAZAR now at a new hideout laughs aloud with his crew of SOLDIERS as they count the money and gold collected that day.

The wind cracks open the front door and distant noises are heard from YOUNG ARNOST and YOUNG HONDO playing a game they made up with rocks and sticks outside the cabin.

RANJIT’S meditation goes horribly wrong when he gets a vision of NAZAR. In his vision he sees the future of ARNOST and HONDO both fighting NAZAR to the death. One of the boys dies in the fight but we cannot make out who did.

RANJIT clenches his eyes shut, still trying to concentrate. RANJIT tries to figure out who dies but only NAZAR is seen laughing at his attempts. He takes the vision away from him and he opens his eyes in frustration.

YOUNG ARNOST hits the rock with the one of the sticks and runs around some trees while YOUNG HONDO chases after him.

Just as YOUNG HONDO is about to catch YOUNG ARNOST by a tree, he runs up the tree and flips backwards to escape. YOUNG ARNOST kicks dirt at YOUNG HONDO to tease him. YOUNG HONDO, now frustrated with his brother, continues on with the chase.

RANJIT starts to meditate again. He envisions the city. He sees NAZAR coaxing him to come into the city laughing sinisterly.

Although he wants to open his eyes he keeps them closed to see what happens next. NAZAR motions his hands for someone to come out of a tent.

Two MASKED MEN drags out YOUNG HONDO fully detained with rope around his legs and arms. YOUNG HONDO puts his head down in exhaustion as NAZAR laughs hysterically.

RANJIT opens his eyes in a panic when he hears YOUNG HONDO’S voice.

YOUNG HONDO

Dad!

RANJIT quickly turns around. He breaks out in a sweat as he stares down YOUNG HONDO. RANJIT chuckles to himself.

RANJIT

Silly kid.

EXT—OUTSIDE RANJIT’S HOME—EVENING

RANJIT walks out of the home where the boys are playing. He has a spear in his hand.

RANJIT

Come on guys, we have an early day tomorrow with our training.

RANJIT looks up at the sky as if he is looking for something. He motions the boys to go back into the home.

YOUNG HONDO leads the way into the home but just before he walks in, he stops everyone and asks a question.

YOUNG HONDO

Hey … uh … what are we eating tonight?

YOUNG ARNOST shrugs his shoulders not knowing what the answer is. Suddenly, RANJIT throws a spear in the air.

RANJIT

Bird.

A huge bird falls from the sky and lands behind them where they played.

EXT—RANJIT’S HOME—DAY

RANJIT walks out of the home excited to start another day of training while YOUNG ARNOST and YOUNG HONDO walk out with looks of exhaustion from the day before.
