Ahmed Ghanim

Ahmed Abdulaziz last born of six kids always dreamed of being a writer at age 12 when he was in the UK. He is Kuwaiti and lived most of his life in Kuwait but studied in the UK at grade seven and eight before returning to his home country. He got the inspiration for writing about shadows of a victim because as a kid he always fantasized about running away from home, which he never had to do, so he decided to write about it. He loves Kuwait because there is a lot to do there, especially with the new mega projects there working on. Ahmed always finds inspiration in Kuwait and especially at 360 mall and cannot wait until the tennis court next to it that is going to be attached to it is finished. As a writer, he enjoys walking in malls and other parks in Kuwait. The shadow series is his first stage play series and he plans to write more.

    INT. ADAMS ROOM – DAY

    Scene:

It was still in the middle of the day and there was a light breeze in the room. Adam was standing in front of his bed, staring at the pile of notebooks and how to books that have been spread along the bed sheets. Adam looked like he was about to do something that he was going to regret later. The room was cold with feeling, the colors were dull. There stood Adam in front of his bed. As the air conditioner blew so did the papers of the books. He looked sure of something as he moved slowly left and right, he looked sad, but you can tell that from his face. He had a past, one that is about to show what it did to him, in the upcoming days. He thought hard about what he was going to do, because he knew everything. What he found out made him sure that things are about to change. He made his decision. One that he thought hed never have to make.

    ADAM

I was never dead, I never meant for people to think that I was. He moves right and stares ahead in the window.

    ADAM

And after I am done with what I am about to do, those people will think by then that what I did was unforgivable. Adam closed his eyes and opened them again.

    ADAM

Well this is the story of my regret and I hope I won’t be here once the story is told, by people who never really knew who I was.

    EXT. THE NEGBOURHOOD STREET-DAY

    Scene:

Ashely and Monica were walking around the neighbourhood, so they seemed in a good enough mood to be smiling here and there, yet they still looked busy.

    MONICA

So are you ready for the party?

    ASHELY

Hardly you know that tom isn’t.

    MONICA

Well both of you will have to get over that soon.

    ASHELY

Why? What is the hurry I thought it was next week.

    MONICA

It got moved up to Tuesday.

    ASHELY

    That’s two days from now.

    MONICA

You got it sister and if I am ever going to look as hot as I always do I’d have to go to the fever salon place early, they’re the only ones who get I want, and I’ve made an appointment with them earlier this evening, one that I can’t cancel now.

    ASHELY

You and your styles I just can’t believe it’s Tuesday, God time flies by.

    MONICA

Besides I want to get the party over with, you know we have exams later on that’s why I moved it up.

    ASHELY

So you’re the one who moved it up?

    MONICA

I cannot believe that creep is staring at us again.
