For you, my dear Fiorella Smargiassi:
I have never been the writer you always dreamed or the narrator that you imagined. I am grateful for my good fortune because I am to receive an inheritance from my grandfather; it is really a small theatre play, an impressive story; maybe my grandfather’s imagination can make you fall in love with me.
For this reason I am traveling to my home in Italy. There is something about being around you that open my heart and my eyes. I understood that a good story is what you want; then the proof of my love for you is a story that can captivate you and make you incline your heart towards me.
All your suitors have failed. I guess you have heard stories from all over the world; however, you do not like fantasy in stories.
The big mistake of your favorite suitors is the magic in their stories and the fantasy in their characters. I have inherited my grandfather’s story in his will; therefore, I would like you to consider my grandfather’s story as if it were mine, so I can participate as your most sensible suitor. The story in brief words is as follows:
A French painter teaches his younger brother to make a woman fall in love, without knowing that she is the woman he loves in silence.
Today is a day of splendor, and the Orient Express makes its journey from Paris to Venice; the exquisiteness of the train always dazzles me, and I hope that my grandfather’s story will dazzle you in the same way.
I love you, Fiorella, I never imagined getting to love you so much, but seeing you again because of the distribution of the inheritance left by my grandfather, I have believed that my destiny is tied to you. Although you have told me that my obligation is to love you and my duty is to show you my love.
The letters about my love story will reach the address we agreed upon. Until the end of my story we will meet, I love you before and after my time. Because of you I exist and I will never love anyone but you. I just got one question for you, my darling, what is your favorite kiss?

Letter I
Visitor
Breizhlander visits the house of the Córdova family and he is received by Felisa.
Barcelona, Spain.
In a spring, the colors aroused the desire to live. Breizhlander Dómine was a young Frenchman, son of a banker and politician, and he wanted to follow the tradition of painters in his family, despite disagreements with his father. Breizhlander traveled to Spain to offer his services as a recognized painter, and he was immediately asked to paint a Spanish lady belonging to the Córdova family.
Breizhlander came to the house of the Córdova family, he enjoyed his seventeen years of age, and he had never fallen in love with anyone. He would receive an unimaginable surprise; suddenly he felt a sense of anxiety as when one is having fun, that is to say, the feeling that time goes fast.
And he knocked on the door, which was opened so easily that it was like a warning that he should be there; and a beautiful creature, with an angelic voice, said: Welcome, Mr. Breizhlander Dómine.
The beautiful creature was the daughter of the Spanish lady, and her name was Felisa Córdova.
When Breizhlander looked at Felisa’s long dress, a wrinkled brown color, he imagined that she was the maid of the house, but when he contemplated the magnificent beauty of her face, he thought she was a queen disguised as a beggar. Felisa showed herself with her blond hair pulled back, a hairstyle in a bun with a fringe; she did not seem to mind that her presence did not match the elegance of the Córdova house.
Breizhlander had fallen in love for the first time; although his love at first sight was deceptive because he saw a woman, when in reality what he had in front of his eyes was a girl trapped inside a woman’s body. He was dreaming wonderful things; and Felisa said: You have a very pretty face.
To which he replied: Thank you, Miss Felisa Córdova.
Felisa smiled when she saw that Breizhlander knelt before her; and the girl cannot resist making a joke, so she quickly said: Mr. Painter, I am twelve years old!
Felisa remembered the tradition of the handkerchiefs, because she admired the relationship of the handkerchiefs with love.
Breizhlander listened to Felisa’s words as if she were away from him; the reason why Breizhlander went down on his knees before Felisa, it was to pick up a small white handkerchief, which fell from Felisa’s hands without any intention.
And the painter had to offer a forced smile, so to speak; the revelation of Felisa’s age was a direct blow to his heart. And the memory that came to Breizhlander’s mind was when, in his childhood innocence, he embraced a cactus because it seemed beautiful, a painful affection.
Felisa was flattered by the painter because he extended the handkerchief and folded it in such a way that the dirty part was hidden, leaving the cleanest part exposed. Felisa’s hands received the handkerchief without overlooking her poetic beauty. And to remove the disconcerting environment, Felisa said: My mother is not ready for the greatest pictorial masterpiece.
Breizhlander did not take his eyes off the handkerchief, and said: That is fine; I can wait a little longer.
A pleasant conversation about the history of the handkerchief was between Breizhlander and Felisa. Imagining that Breizhlander’s actions on the handkerchief represented a declaration of love, so he decided to change the conversation before his heart unleashed his feelings and his mouth betrayed him; a betrayal that even the most wounded heart would forgive.
Felisa observed that she was embarrassing her visitor, so she said: We have to go to the backyard.
And she grabbed his visitor’s right forearm to take him to the back of her house; they walked on one side of the house to get to the backyard. Breizhlander allowed himself to be carried away without being dragged, at the time he did not care if Felisa was the angel of death; he would let himself be killed for her or he would commit suicide to please her.
Breizhlander was hypnotized; he could react when he stumbled, and then he said: I hope I have not forgotten anything.
Felisa said: Please, rest assured that everything is in the backyard.
Letter II
Honey
Felisa Córdova fell deeply in love with her visitor, Breizhlander Dómine, and she innocently produced in him a great love for her.
Barcelona, Spain.
Felisa went into her house to look for a package that belonged to her visitor, and she left her house at the moment when Breizhlander was contemplating a small flower in a pot. Felisa smiled and walked towards the pot, and then she did something that surprised her visitor; she cut the flower and gave it to him saying: A beautiful memory for you.
Breizhlander discovered that he had lost against love and, worst of all, he had lost against a forbidden love; even the hardest heart would soften and the deepest hatred would be displaced. Breizhlander could not believe that there was so much tenderness and charm in one person.
Felisa was possessed by an angelic innocence that would force any man to apologize for not having adored her and, at the same time, to apologize for having adored her. Felisa handed over the package and said: Please, rest assured that everything blooms in my garden. My father met his father at university.
Felisa let her hair down as if releasing
