Do You See This Woman?: Six Women Who Encountered Jesus Face-To-Face
()
About this ebook
Discover what it means to be SEEN by Jesus.
Women today can often feel invisible, unknown, unneeded, or burdened by shame and guilt. We all share a deep desire to be seen, needed, loved, and set free.
In Do You See This Woman?, author Laynie Travis takes an up-close-and-personal look at six women in the Bible who were radically transformed by a face-to-face encounter with Christ. Jesus not only saw these women, but also gave them a voice, valued them, and loved them. He challenged cultural expectations and saw them for who they were—not for their sin.
If you feel alone, undervalued, or invisible, this six-week study will reassure you that Jesus sees you and has a purpose for your life. Through exploring the fascinating accounts of these six women, you’ll learn that the interactions Jesus shared with them illustrate how He wants to interact with you as a woman today.
Jesus sees you. He knows you. He values you. Come discover what it means to be loved by the God who sees.

A little about me: I’m in love with Jesus, my husband, my children, and spreading the Good News of the Gospel! I’ve been passionate about Jesus for as long as I can remember. I was saved at a young age and I love Jesus with all of my heart. I’m married to my best friend and the love of my life, Reese Travis, and wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else. The Lord has blessed us with four amazing kids: two boys and two girls. I’m crazy about each one of them. My husband and I are in the middle of the great adventure of raising a large family and following our God-given passions. A couple of years ago, I felt the Lord nudge me to put my faith into action and start a Bible study in my local community, so I asked an experienced Bible teacher to lead a study at my home. Well, over a series of unexpected events, I found myself leading and teaching that same Bible study just one year later. Suddenly, a new passion was born inside of me. That one faith step has now inspired me to not only teach, but also start writing Bible devotionals. I’m passionate about communicating the Good News of Jesus and the power of His Word through teaching and writing.
