About this ebook

For two thousand years, theologians have been attempting to explain the Bible’s book of Revelation. The mysterious last plague, also known as the “seventh vial,” was explained to John by the angel of the Lord and documented in two chapters within Revelation. For centuries, it was a fiercely debated topic because it had not happened yet—until September 11, 2001.

In a comprehensive and enlightening biblical study, Larry Ammons extracts forty verses from the two chapters and matches them with forty events that took place at the World Trade Center at the beginning of the twenty-first century. Through fact-based evidence and Bible epigraphs, Ammons demonstrates how and why the ancient prophecies have come true and reveals by truth, not coincidence, how ten men were allowed powers as kings for an hour and forever changed the world in the process.

The Grace of Sin is a unique presentation of facts that examines the seventh plague in the book of Revelation, compares biblical facts with actual events, and reveals shocking truths.

    INTRODUCTION

The real thing that got me interested in the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center was their burning. I thought they had burned for an hour, and I remembered reading something in Revelation about one hour. So I got my Bible out and started speed-reading through Revelation, looking for one hour. I found it in chapter 18; the phrase one hour was popping up all over the place. I said to myself, What am I reading here? So I went to the beginning and found that this is the revelation of Jesus Christ, as told to a man named John by an angel. But John is given riddles and double meanings, not explanations but visions of strange creatures he has never seen before.

Then I read chapter 16, which tells of seven plagues. Each plague has a little paragraph saying what it is, but the seventh plague has two big chapters explaining word for word in straight talk what it means. Why is the seventh plague explained in two big chapters? This is the only plague that is explained.

The other six plagues build up, but the seventh plague came in one day, September 11, 2001.

This book is about the last plague in the book of Revelation. The seventh vial (bowl) has been a topic of debate for the last two thousand years. What’s so special about the seventh? It’s the only plague whose mystery is explained to John by the angel of the Lord, and John wrote it down word for word. It’s explained in two chapters of Revelation. Two chapters! God used only one chapter to say how He created the whole universe and every living thing on earth. So why two chapters on the seventh plague?

The seventh plague is the last plague. There are no more plagues; this is it! It’s finished. No more punishments. This is the last chance to change our evil ways. This is the only plague that is explained without riddles or strange visions. The angel of the Lord actually shows John the real vision of the plague as it happened, and John wrote down everything he saw.

    *     *     *

The reason people had debated the seventh plague all these centuries without finding the answer to it was because it hadn’t happened yet. Not until September 11, 2001, that is. Forty of the prophecies John wrote about are explained in this book. Since 2001, all of these seventh-plague prophecies have happened. A statistician has said that having two two-thousand-year-old prophecies come true is like stacking the entire state of Texas with one foot of dimes, scrambling them up, and finding the one marked dime. This book proves that forty two-thousand-year-old prophecies have come true.

    CHAPTER 1

    What Does It Mean?

There is a difference between Wisdom and Knowledge.

    02.jpg

    SHE’S NOT A WOMAN

John is being shown a vision of a woman dressed in purple and silk, adorned in precious stones, sitting on a scarlet-colored beast with seven heads and ten horns, and he’s marveling at this vision.

And the angel said unto me, wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her which hath the seven heads and ten horns. (Revelation 17:7)

And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (Revelation 17:9)

How can a woman sit on seven mountains at the same time? She would have to be a really giant woman! But the Bible explains it’s not a woman at all.

And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reighneth over kings of the earth. (Revelation 17:18)

So the woman the angel is referring to here is the great city itself!

A city is made up of working people conducting their daily business.

The word city is derived from citizen.

So the woman represents the people of the city.

People use terms like this all the time when they are referring to a city. They say, She’s a great city. So the same is being done here. The woman is the city—a city filled with people of all nationalities and languages.

    WHAT ARE THE SEVEN MOUNTAINS?

Out of curiosity, I looked up the word mountain in the dictionary, and to my surprise, I found that a mountain doesn’t have to be a mass of earth and rock. It can be anything of so great a bulk to suggest the size of a mountain. Also, a mountain is anything higher than a hill. Look it up for yourself!

So then I thought, The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center are higher than a hill! But the angel told John, The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits. The Twin Towers are only two buildings. I should have let it go at this point, but I still felt that this was the prophesy the angel was explaining to John. So I checked further and found that the World Trade Center had seven buildings! I was in awe! The World Trade Center consisted of seven high-rise buildings.

At that moment, I came to the realization that these words of Revelation, which have lain dormant for some two thousand years, are now alive. I was overcome with a humbling feeling that sunk me back in my chair. I just sat there with my mouth open, looking at the words I had just read. It was too much to take in at one time—or any other time. Yet there it was. The revelation of Jesus Christ has come to pass! INSERT 03
